Brilliant, just brilliant. Rustic motel on the outside luxury amenities in the room excellent bed, sheets, towels, five stars!

Loved the breakfast patio watching the sunrise over the lake. Service friendly and helpful. Breakfast adequate.

Motel style accommodation. The closer quarters lend itself to hearing more noise from neighbors, though nothing unreasonable. Excellent staff. Dogs are allowed. There are an average number of places to eat nearby.

I really like this place. The owners are hands on and they try hard. It is a great location and the little amenities are awesome. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the botched check in. I arrived at 2:15 for a 3:30 check in. The owner said that my room would be ready in a half hour. No problem, I didnt expect it to be ready before 3:30. I walked around and came back in 45 minutes. Room was still not ready but it wasn’t yet 3:30, so I was a little miffed but no big deal. I then came back about 3:40. The room still isn’t ready. Now, I’m a little upset because I would have done something else if I knew it would take this long. So I wait around and they finally finish at 4pm. Hospitality 101: have all rooms ready at the stated check in time, especially if you know someone arrives early and is waiting. I figure I wasted a good hour of my time in Bailey’s Harbor because he told me a half hour. Major fail but the place is great otherwise.

The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly. The curb-appeal wasn’t great but view and area in the back of the inn by the lake was beautiful. The two paddle boards and kayaks free to use were a nice surprise. The inn had a fire pit on the beach which was really fun to sit around at night. The breakfast didn’t offer a lot of options but the pastries and coffee they offered were from local businesses and were delicious. I would be happy to stay there again!

This property was well maintained, clean & updated. One thing that was an issue was absolutely no counter space in bathroom. There is room for a narrow table that would have been helpful in the small bathroom. So we found it difficult, always digging through our items every evening and every morning to get ready.

From the outside, it looks like a typical roadside motel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and beautifully updated but the location is everything. We had a partial view of the lake and got to sleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. The location can’t be beat. The staff were warm and friendly. Highly recommend, can’t wait to come back

Excellent motel, friendly, helpful, clean, great breakfast, great restaurant across the street, great deck out back right on Lake Michigan. Loved everything and will definitely come back and stay there again. I give it a 10!!!!

Perfect little place, cute clean and comfy. Staff was so friendly. Great beach and fire pits, great views, a lot of space to hang out. Perfect location for a home base for a trip to Door County. I can’t wait to stay here again next time we visit.

We had a very enjoyable stay and were very happy with the rooms! Owners are friendly and put the extra touches into everything that makes it feel like a deluxe resort. Windows in the rooms are large and make for a beautiful view of Lake Michigan.Would definetly recommend and will stay there on our next visit to Door County.

#205 was an excellent suite with great views and amenities. The staff were friendly and the firepits at night to hang out were a blast. First time at this property but I can see a return stay in the future.
