The owner “Doc” is the icing on the cake for this wonderful property! The hospitality, historic information provided and amazing breakfast each morning made our trip an experience to remember! I would highly recommend and will definitely return to this property when re-visiting Savannah!

The owner and host, Doctor Mall, is wonderful. The house is beautiful and full of wonderful antique furnishings. Each morning breakfast is served in a beautiful dining room. Doc has something distinctly Southern placed in front of us and he tells us the story behind it- and it is a treat! There is free off street parking behind the house. When in Savannah it will always be my choice of lodging.

Great house with a fabulous host. There is a large porch in the back where we sat in the late afternoon and at night. The breakfasts were wonderful. Doc is full of Savanna knowledge and stories!

Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the owner Dr. Albert Wall (Doc) who made me feel right at home. The B&B itself is a picturesque home tucked away in a corner of the Historic District. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful 100-year-old garden. We stayed on the garden level in a cozy room with everything we needed. The shower was great! One of the highlights of our visit was the delicious breakfast served each morning. Doc is not only a gracious host but also a talented chef using recipes that were very old & very southern! While serving breakfast he gave us recommendations for local attractions brief anecdotes on the history of the area. Everything is within walking distance which was great. We highly recommend this charming B&B for your next escape to Savannah.

This is an historic property wonderfully maintained and outfitted with lovely period pieces. As expected some rooms are small. Breakfasts involve historic recipes. The secret ingredient is the proprietor Doc who knows all the history as well as helpful hints for tourists.

Another wonderful stay in this charming bed and breakfast. The inn and the host were both delightful.

It was a relaxing experience , very old school slow and easy going better suited for those 40 and up who want to live a week in the greatest city of the south. Doc and crew are the best.

We loved the unique design of the property and how well it is maintained. We could had used a coffee maker at the room. Loved the atmosphere and attention that was offered by the staff. Our suggestion will be to change the carpet in the garden rooms. It will be beneficial to the health of your guests during their stay.

The home was just beautiful. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the host who was a true southern gentleman. Our room was beautifully decorated, beds comfortable and the linens were excellent. Each breakfast was unique, accompanied by a description of its historic origins. And it was delicious, graciously served by the host and SCAD students.

The property is centrally located and easy to get around town. The staff is friendly and accommodating, full of recommendations if needed for your vacation. I would stay here if we vacation in Savannah again.

Staying in this beautiful home will transform you back to earlier times. Amazing antiques are well presented. And Dr. wall is an absolute gem as your host. Every item has a story and he gladly shares them with you.

If you stay in Savannah GA and you don't stay at The Stephen Williams House you made a mistake. It is a wonderful house, with wonderful staff and great location. Dr. Wall is a marvelous chef for the gourmet breakfasts and he will make you feel at home with his Savannah stories and southern hospitality.

We had a delightful two-day stay. The location was perfect to explore Savannah on foot. Dr. Wall was a very gracious host and provided helpful tips on what to do as well as engaging conversation at breakfase. We stayed in one of the smallest rooms, which was a bit cramped, but had the essentials. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was a uniquely elegant B&B full of antiques and Southern charm. The breakfasts were authentically historic and delicious. But the best thing about the Stephen Williams House is the owner, Doctor Wall. The most charming host that you will ever come across. His staff are wonderful as well. Loved our stay. Would definitely recommend and would return.
