I really liked the way the towels were specially folded! So much so we did not use them! :) Room needed hand soap and other amenities though

The hotel is beautiful, well managed, comfortable suite and beds, Breakfast was amazing. Staff are super friendly and most helpful. Will stay here again. Highly recommend it.

Overall great place to stay. The associate at checkin was not very pleasant or friendly. She was by no means rude at all but didn’t seem to want to be there.

The food in the restaurant was outstanding. We had the same server for dinner and breakfast the next morning. His service and attention was impressive.

Obviously they are short of staff .
Duuring the checkin, we've been waiting for 15 minutes as there was only one lady at the counter, dealing with check in clients, and at the same time to take care of other customers who come out from pool and returning towels and with other questions.
Not blaming the counter staff, but problem of shortage of it.

Room was large and very clean. Unfortunately the room is directly above the pool so you can hear the activity coming from the pool area. There was a wedding there and some of the guests were very noisy in the hallway. Bed was uncomfortable which made sleeping difficult.

I was there for a wedding. We had a nice quiet room. It was clean and staff was very friendly.

Had a great stay with my son & dog. All staff very friendly. Pleasantly surprised at size of room and pool /gym was amazing! Had a great beet salad with chicken at restaurant for dinner. Complimentary coffee in lobby in morning was a great touch!

Nice pool, nice hot tub, right off the highway and next to a gas station. Very convenient. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. I probably wouldn't get a pool view room next time as the chlorine smell gets into the room, but it was a neat 'resort style' experience. The restaurant was understandably a bit understaffed during our visit, which led to a longer wait, but the staff was doing their best under the circumstances. The food was still decent, and the pricing was good.

Rooms were clean and spacious.. balcony to pool was interesting ( too humid to keep door open). Very accommodating.. restaurant was really good.. quality food. Will return if need be..

Would not recommend booking at this location. Obvious signs of being short staffed. Requested room cleaning in the morning at the front desk, assured it would be done, only to return in the evening to learn it was not. Several areas of customer service coaching identified, staff acknowledging they too are aware of the many challenges! Planning a trip/stop in Pembroke just off Hwy 17 ~ head across the street from Best Western to the Holiday Inn and you won’t be disappointed!

To say breakfast is included is a little misleading...breakfast off one enu is inlcuded, but if you choose the other enu you get $8.00 off the price. Also, no towels were available at the pool, we had to search out some. All in all though, nice hotel, lovely grounds and friendly staff! Would stay there again if in Pembroke!

Rooms in basement are humid and smell terrible. There is a smell of moisture, wet carpet and cheese. The presence of dehumidifier in hallways and rooms confirms that management and staff is aware of the problem

The welcome was so so and after opening the door of the room that we gave us an employee can’t work happily in this place. The room that we gave us was in the basement, smelling mould and with mould. We were lucky that this employee was able to find us another room on the third floor. Then we use the pool that is in very poor condition. This hotel miss maintenance and love. Better to choose any other.

Front desk gave me a room with a folding couch bed. Not what I expected for my nearly 200.00 fee.
Room I was subsequently given was sub standard, vynl siding was pulling off wall and tv was small. Not at all what was expected.

Check in was bizzar.At first, they had me in a handicapped room.room was clean, coffee maker was dirty. Wifi was atrocious, kept disconnecting and was a challenge to reconnect.it wemt to go in the hot tub Saturday night and at ten minutes to ten I was scolded that it was closing from the rude staff at desk. Friday night meal was pricey ,I opted for the Strack and it was almost inedible, and had soo much salt, wasn't worth eating the bartender was sympathetic, and gave great service. The initial waiter was pushy and is in the wrong line of work with regards to customer service. I skipped the breakfast after the first morning as it was rigged to upsell you to pay more, and it was equally dry and tasless and again over salted. I have to many Best Westerns ,and this was by far the worse experience. You live and learn.

The girl working front desk when we checked in was incredibly nice and welcoming. She was able to get us into the pool early and recommended places to go while our room got ready. The next morning, since I was alone with my 3 kids, she went and packed us up breakfast to eat in our room. I missed getting her name but just wanted to say the service was great! And we loved the whole hotel, will definitely be back!

I refused the Alcohol option. I like to have an alternative option. This is the worst Best Western I have ever been to in the world. Super 8 or Motor Inn would've done better. If I can give Negative stars I would. The breakfast options were terrible. The all you can eat across the street at the Holiday Inn would've been the place. Next time will never go there. Went out to eat breakfast, after the terrible experience there.
Over priced place also.
The pancake today was probably made with the chefs legs. I have pictures of the disaster.
