It was clean and spacious but it looked old and dated.

Very nice older hotel. Noisy with tailgaters right outside the doors 24/7. Great location!

The facility is very old, typical low end beach unit. Faucet was loose, shower was large, rusty fixtures. Bed was reasonable, furnishings were ad hoc.

Great place to stay. Very affordable compared to other places around the area. Friendly staff. I will be staying at this location again.

Close to the Beach

The room was not worth the rate by any means due to the size and the condition of the overall property. The property and room were something of a low budget motel where you go to if you can’t find anywhere else and just have no choice however, sleeping in your vehicle might prove to be just as comfortable as this place. I’m not sure how they managed to have as high as a rating as they did but this place did not earn it. Even after checking in, parking was another issue due to the limited amount of space they had for parking. The final straw was when I went to the room, which looked like a scene from any low budget motel sex scene, I found a bed bug in my bed. I grabbed my things and left immediately, going to the office to report my findings. The lady at the front desk was shown I picture of what I saw crawling on the bed and said it wasn’t a bed bug. Whatever it was, it was enough for me to leave and not look back. This hotel claimed they were not able to give refunds right away but gave me a number to call. I called the number and so far I haven’t gotten anyone on the phone. I ended up booking a room with Hotel Tybee. This place is a very nice and highly recommended hotel.

First of all, the price with discount was perfect! Humane... Has free parking which is among the best thing for such a busy vacation spot that the beach's public parking was filled by 11am on Saturday. The reception miss also let us park for a few hours after check out so we could have lunch before leaving Tybee Island! 👌👍😘

Friendly staff and owner's. Needs updating badly.

Checking in was easy and parking was not a problem. Opened the door to our room and there was an instant musty smell. Hairs on our pillows and sheets. Dents from a chair in a wall, door to the bathroom had the veneer pealing off. Walls in the bathroom were disgusting. Black ring in the toilet from not being cleaned. Bugs in the kitchenette drawers. We visited friends staying at a house nearby until late in the evening. Tried to get some sleep but ended up leaving at 2:45am because of the musty smell and dirty conditions. Do not go off of any positive reviews saying this place is clean or special in any way. Because it’s not. We thought this place might be the best option since we were only staying one night and not going to spend a lot of time there. Boy were we wrong!!

Desk woman was so friendly and helpful! Everything was wonderful from start he room to the location. Only comment is parking is scarce. Need more parking.

Check in and check out was quick and easy. Room were nice and clean. Owner/manager was very friendly!

The best part of staying here is the location. My room was mediocre, the mattress was too firm, the bathroom had a few steps that wasn't safe at night, there isn't any black out curtains with all night lights blaring, no coffee maker or breakfast available, and very tight parking. The good feature was it's close to the beach and restaurants.

Close to everything

Limited parking, not enough parking spots for the amount of rooms. We were lucky we got the last spot. On the positive, it is walking distance from the beach and entertainment.

Blackout curtains would be a major improvement. There was a very bright light outside my window so my room not in the least bit dark.

Clean hotel for a one night stay while traveling. Walking distance to restaurant, bars and boardwalk. Disappointed with the add on of fees, including a $15 administrative fee even though I booked online.

Everything was great except the bed was not firm enough for my back.

Very cute place, a super quick walk to the ocean, boardwalk, and restaurants/bars. Woman who checked me in was incredibly sweet. Room was clean and spacious.

Great large room that felt like an apartment.

This was a great little spot right on the strip. Close to everything, convient free parking and a small patio outside to sit and enjoy coffee or drinks. The room was pretty standard, small but clean and recently renovated. That staff was very pleasent and friendly. My olny complaint would be the sulfer water which is obviously not under the hotels control. Not horrid but can definitely smell and taste it.

Room was extremely clean. The staff are very friendly and nice. The young lady who checked us was very friendly and very efficient with getting us in our room quickly. Great room and great location. Check out was fast

For a last minute reservation, I have zero complaints. My husband had one complaint- the property has lights right outside every unit and it was shining right through the thinner curtains all night. He is a stickler about complete darkness in order to fall asleep and stay asleep. It didn't bother me so much and we were able to joke about it; I actually like how safe the property feels with it so well lit. But it would make sense for the rooms to have blackout curtains for guests like my husband to be able to fall asleep easier. As for everything else, checking for us was after hours for the office and shortly after making our last minute reservations I received a call explaining this, with information on which room we would be in, where we could find our key, and giving me a phone number where I could reach the gentleman who I spoke with in case we had any issues. We didn't spend much time in the room for the one overnight, as we wanted to eat and spend time on the beach. There were sufficient clean towels, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower wasn't anything exceptional, but nothing to complain about either. Checkout was also smooth and easy the next morning before we continued our vacation down the coast. We stayed mid-September, so the Inn and the island were both slower with tourists and traffic, but I can't speak to how a stay would be during the busy summer months. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Atlantis Inn to others.

The guy who checked me in and out was so friendly and had the cutest dog! I felt right at home and the cleaning lady was awesome! Everything about this place is so clean and wonderful. It’s the perfect little island getaway for yourself or with family. I’m trying to convince my family to come with me for a trip next year.
