we have problem with air conditioning and shower room is plug the room is not clean well and need update check out different location is better price and better roombut this hotel is private beach that only thing if need some place peaceful

Perfect location, helpful kind staff, great food, good value

Pleasant staff, rooms were clean but maybe a little pricey. But fantastic neavjgromt location, I would stay again if the right deal was to be had.

We gave been to this place many times and this will be our last. Food was unacceptable. It took 1.5 hours for fries. Breakfast was Thai style, mediocre at best. Staff was friendly for most part. Room was clean and comfortable. Cant get coffee until 11am.

Beach front room right on the beach. Awesome location and view. Hotel 1 star at best. Food is not good. Hotel is a bit run down. But the location and view are worth it.

The samed cabana is not too bad. But the staff is really too lazy. Every step they do, it seems that they really dont want to do it. Especially the restaurant staff. Cleaning is good, and the rooms are ok. Pool needs renovation.

Bathrooms look dirty, need renovation. Water not draining quickly after shower. Beds not comfortable.TV picture no quality.

Clean and cozy beach side hotel with friendly staff. But disappointed by noisy Chinese group everywhere. Dinner at the restaurant was good but more expensive than other beaches. Breakfast is average.

The staff were not very helpful and the food was not good at the hotel. If you head up the beach the other hotels have much better food and service. I did not eat the western food but the thai food in the resort was ordinary.

Had looked at many hotels on Koh Samet and I'm really glad we chose this one. This beach was the nicest we visited on the island with the clearest water and especially this hotel is good at keeping the beach clean (i.e. removing trash from the sand - general problem many places in Asia, not super bad on Samet I'd say). We had a very fairly priced bungalow on the beach and the reception was very helpful with the few things we needed. Not very impressed with the food but there are other options further down the beach.

Wonderful location, plenty of beach chairs, good A/C, yummy breakfast although few Western breakfast items, clean pool, and comfy bed.

Position of Sea side house is fantastic. However ,the sand outside the house are a bit dirty, i think a little bit lazy . And the air conditioner not so well , a bit hot so far .

Hotel was nice but there were mosquitos in the room and few other bugs. Also hot water heater didn't work. Friendly staff and the beach was very nice. All in all I would recommend the samed cabana to others.

We have been here before and it was so nice so we went back again. The hotel itself is basically the same. I think the area looks bigger than when we were here in 2014. We booked a beachfront room and they gave us a nice little hut at the far end of the resort, which was super nice because at least people can't really see directly into our room. In general, only the receptionists speak good level of English and they usually start work at 8 am... so don't expect to get a clear answer from the breakfast staff before that. The worst thing is that the beach is getting dirtier... The reason is that more and more boats now go directly to Ao Wong Deuan... it makes swimming a danger sport and those freaking boats just spill oil in the sea! Those oil ended up in the sand got pushed up to the beach... I had sticky black oil on my feet 3 times during my visit (tips: use sun lotion to clean), it was super frustrating and sad. We feel so sad that we instead walked to some other beaches during our visit. There are also more and more sargassum seaweed floating in the sea and landing on the beach... Some cleaning is really necessary.

To be honest the room was more basic than expected for the price. The thing mainly to recomend was the location on the beach which was beautifull

We have stayed here several times now, and ALWAYS enjoy the experience. This time we brought along a great friend, and booked two Beachfront rooms. ALL went well, and he was very happy with his relaxing Island Holiday.

Overall we had a lovely time staying in one of the beach front bungalows but I have to admit I was disappointed when I saw the bungalow - I expected it to be bigger and have more luxuries. In saying this we were very happy there for five nights and would recommend it.
