Blue Ridge was like a home from home. So clean with lots of thoughtful touches. The family were so welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was the best we’d had in NZ. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone staying in the are.

The accommodations here were absolutely phenomenal. The couple who runs it has paid such detailed attention to every single part of our stay and experience. The grounds were gorgeous. We ate outside. We enjoyed the quiet of the neighborhood. For breakfast they served exactly what we asked for and it was delicious! It was also very timely because we wanted to leave early to get to one of our adventures. If you’re going to be in this part of New Zealand, it is a fabulous place to stay!

The owner was very friendly, helpful and a wonderful cook. The room was immaculately clean and had extras like cookies, chocolates coffee and milk in your room. This B&B is a quick 4 minute car ride to the town center and a great jumping off point to Milford sound.

This place felt like home! I can't say enough good things about our experience here. The owner personally makes you breakfast with a smile, the hot tub is hot, the beds are comfortable, and the room is spacious. Highly recommended.

Rebecca was a warm and friendly host who cooked a beautiful breakfast for her guests. Great amenities even had makeup remover wipes and beautiful lavender toiletries. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else and will be recommending this B&B to family and friends.

1. The location is close to the town and therefore convenient2. The host is a amicable person and we enjoyed her breakfast3. My suggestion is to take the middle or the end room; our room is the first room and the window front on to the car park, thus privacy is an issue4 . Overall the stay is reasonable

Highly recommended. Very spacious and comfortable rooms that don’t look like much from the outside but are very well arranged with a great sense of details for comfort. I also recommend the outside jacuzzi after a cruise in cold and wet fjords.

The room was beautiful- cozy (and I don't mean small) and the bathroom was lovely (heated floors!) It was the perfect oasis for our stressful day. It's on a residential street within walking distance to the center of town and all the restaurants. Rebecca made us the most delicious breakfast in the morning and was able to get us a spot on a bus to Queenstown even though it looked like it was sold out online. She even gave us a ride to the bus stop. So glad we got to stay there and hope to stay again next time we're in the area.

Te Anau is an adorable, small town, but I can tell you with reasonable certainty this is the best place to stay in Te Anau. The rooms were excellent- it was hands-down the best shower we saw on our entire trip through New Zealand. We were picked up and dropped off directly at the B&B by all the shuttling services (Trips&Tramps, RealJourneys, etc), which made it extra convenient. Walked to dinner anywhere in town. But, best of all was the service provided here. We were going to miss breakfast one morning due to an early bus to Milford Sound, and the owner stuffed our fridge with breakfast sandwiches and snacks and treats to take with us on our journey- it was fantastic! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Fantastic B&B in Te Anau, perfect launch pad for a trip to Milford Sound! Full bathroom and bedroom plus access to great deck/outdoor area, BBQ, and hot tub. Five minute walk to downtown Te Anau with lots of food options (the dumpling cart is the best). Plus the breakfast was superb. You can't go wrong staying in this quiet area of town.

Extremely pleasant stay. Rebecca the hostess is delightful and the breakfasts were superb. Very easy going, rooms are spacious and clean, plenty of coffee and biscuits. The B&B is an easy 5 minute walk or 2 minute drive to the town centre and the lake. The area is breathtakingly gorgeous. I give the Blue Ridge 5 stars across the board!

We loved our one night stay here so much, we extended it to 3 nights. Rebecca was a wonderful hostess, she is so knowledgable about the area and kindly researched tours for us while were out to dinner and met us when we got back. Delightful breakfasts, made to order! I LOVED the hot tub, felt great after a cold day out. This is THE place to stay in fiordland! You wont regret it.

My husband and I couldn’t have been happier staying at the Blueridge. We were greeted warmly by Rebecca and enjoyed every minute in this comfortable B and B. The bed was cozy, the robes were such a welcome treat and the jacuzzi warmed us after a drizzly day in the sound. Breakfast was delicious, too. Top notch hospitality!

Has a small kitchenette, heated floor tiles and a comfortable bed. The heated towel rack didn’t work, and the hot plate was disconnected. Heating in the room was good, and breakfast was super tasty. Close walk into town, clean and comfortable. Some things in the room were slightly dated, and the bathroom was accessible, so it wasn’t very modern/user friendly for people who don’t need accessibility.
