Closeby to the centre, beuatiful studio which we stayed in.

We had a comfortable, warm and a very pleasant three nights in the studio, with the owners being very helpful. We had to leave early for the ferry and unfortunately didn't have a chance to say thanks to them or fatewell. A very central place to stay in a lovely garden.

The convenience was amazing - just a 2 minute walk to the shops, restaurants and hot springs. The owners Maree and Len are wonderful hosts.

Stayed in a garden room. Nice and quiet away from the main house and street. Not serving breakfast due to hosts wanting guests to support the local businesses, which is understandable. Just a short walk to the hot pools and towels are supplied by your hosts. Monteiths Bar short walk on the on corner is great for a pub style meal and good beer.

a lovely quiet place to stay. Yet still in centre of Hamner but away from the bizz of the town. Easy walking to restaurants , bars & pools. Room was very clean and very comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay there.

This was a cute little cottage in the grounds of a lovely old gracious home. It had all the amenities and was very private and quiet. Close to the town and all cafes and restaurants. Just across the road from the hot springs!

We had an amazing stay at Cheltenham House. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was amazing. Has everything you need and more! We appreciated the underfloor heating in the bedroom and the bathroom. The staff were extremely friendly and so welcoming. We would highly recommend this accommodation and cannot wait to be able to come back.

Len was a very attentive, friendly host. Beautiful setting and gardens. We enjoyed star-gazing in the garden after we got back from dinner. Great location - only a short stroll from the centre of Hanmer and the hot spring pools. We really enjoyed our stay.

My husband & I stayed for 2 nights, we were made very welcome from the moment we arrived thru to our departure time, the couple were very informative, helpful, friendly & approachable. We loved the style, & comfort of the main house & our accommodation. We ordered breakfast for both days, the service, quality of food, presentation of our food was outstanding & cost was reasonable compared to other places we have stayed. We would highly recommend Cheltenham House. We look forward to staying at Cheltenham House again sometime in the future.

Comfortable, cosy and warm but insufficient lighting especially by bed, black shades do not assist reading. Lighting also poor in bathroom a dark shower curtain and small shower had no light. TV channels lost signals and no Sky tv.

Chosen for its close proximity to the Thermal Pools & Spa, Cheltenham House far exceeded our expectations. Cannot be faulted in any way at all. Fabulous accommodation, brilliant owners, just overall fantastic.

The location is perfect, a few minutes away from the thermal pool, the local restaurants and convenience stores. The hosts are very friendly and the breakfast is actually quite nice. A great first B&B experience for our family.
