So much things to eat

We really enjoyed our stay in Myeongdong. The solaria was very convenient and the breakfast was a great deal (recommend adding it as an option). The hotel is located between two stations 🚉 which makes it easy if you’re looking to do sight seeing. Our room was well kept and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion to the hotel is to ensure the decorative pillows are clean. The one on our bed was not. Other than that one detail, we would highly recommend it!

Pillow is too small. There are two hardness pillows but one is too hard and one is too soft. Using one is too low but two is too high

My family stayed at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel during our stay at Myeongdong. This hotel is centrally located in the Myeongdong area, making it an ideal spot with easy access to numerous shops and restaurants such as the Olive Young Main Branch, nyu nyu, Breadypost, and Myeongdong Kyoja Main Branch to name a few. Lotte Department Store and Namdaemun Market are also about 10min walk and the cable car to NamSan tower is probably 15-20 min walk uphill. The Myeongdong neighborhood is bustling with activity, especially on weekends, as both tourists and locals fill the streets. While it wasn't an issue for us getting to and from the hotel, it did take some time to get accustomed to the busy atmosphere. There is no locker for luggage if you arrive early, but a hotel staff member watches over all guests' luggage until check-in time. We had a family twin room during our stay which was within our budget. The room was small, as we expected, but the toilet was in its own stall separate from the shower and bathtub area, which was nice as it allowed multiple people to use the restroom simultaneously. I was enjoying my stay until I saw a huge cockroach near the toilet early in the morning. I have no idea where it came from and where it went. I would have considered staying at Solaria for my next visit to Myeongdong, but this experience has made me reconsider.

Our stay at Solaria was great. This hotel is smack dab in the middle of Myeongdong. Airport limousine 6015 bus dropped us off and the walk to the hotel was only 5 minutes from the bus stop. We just as easily took the limousine bus back to the airport ( cash or tmoney card only). The Myeoungdong station was also just a 5min walk from the hotel. The breakfast buffet was well worth it. The food options were plentiful and all cooked well. There's a tous les jour bakery just up the street with excellent coffee. I would not hesitate to stay here again next time in Seoul.

Hotel is a bit tired, but housekeeping is done well. Good location but not fully accessible by car/taxi.

The hotel provided an exceptional experience from the moment of our arrival. The customer service was of the highest quality, both during check-in and check-out. The location is truly ideal. Without a doubt, I will choose to stay here again in the future.

Cleanliness and service is excellent. Staff is helpful and polite. Would be very good if room can be slighly bigger for 3 adults. Bath shower is very good with strong water pressure. WC is state of the art and you'd had a hard time adjusting back to a normal one. Hotel is right at the centre of action.

I was glad that they were kind enough to respond to me in Japanese.

There is no lounge for drink, no bar. And it is literally middle of myundong street, it’s chaose whenever i leave. Should’ve known better

Very convenient to walk from MeongDong station, Nanta theater, and many other restaurants and shops.

I had an easy two-night stay at the Solaria. I liked the location as it was close to two metro stations and only a short walk to a major street to catch a taxi. Staff were extremely nice, responsive, and helpful. I was on the 7th floor and heard absolutely no noise from the busy streets below. My room was clean, and I appreciated all amenities. My one complaint is that both the carpet and the wallpaper are old and contain stains. I do legitimately think the room was clean, but stains give the appearance that it's not. Updates are needed.

Room was small, pillows were uncomfortable, and bath towels were thin. Hotel restaurant closes at 4pm. There was no gym or spa. Other than that, location was right in the heart of Myeongdong with lots of restaurants, shopping, and spas which made up for the hotels lack of amenities.

The only problem is the aircond in the room making noise and not cooling

The hotel location is perfect, the only downside is vehicle cannot go into the hotel street. Room is clean, property is well maintain.
