The mnaagement of the hotel is a mess. I arrived at the hotel at 11am and the front desk told me my room was not ready so I did not say anything and wait at the lobby. I waited until 2pm which is the check in time but the front desk told me the room still not ready because the owner of the hotel stayed at the room on the previous night so my room will not be ready until later of the day. The front desk offer me a normal room for refreshing myself before my meeting at 3 but the room has no air conditioning and painting is in progress right outside my room so the chemical smell made me sick.
The front desk staff's attitude is horrible as she shouted at me 'sir I told you already that your room is not ready' without looking at me. Avoid this hotel as the management has no difference to a family run B&B

Terrible property, debris falling from the AC unit on the mattress, constant smell of marihuana and in spite of telling the front desk several times, the smell kept on during the whole stay. Will never come back

My requested for romantic turn down, bottle of champagne etc was handled so well by Talita Bos. All the staff we interacted with were excellent and very helpful especially the concierge desk. Reception staff really good, making sure check in was very quick

The hotel amenities were very nice. The hotel advertised shuttle airport but we waited a long time at the airport for the hotel to work out our request. Taxi would have been cheaper and faster. Checkin was a disaster.

Great location close to Sandton station & Sandton City mall. Very helpful staff. Rooms are a little dated ito facilities but still in good condition eg. No 2-point or USB plug points.

Positive: Great hotel in a fantastic location. We wanted to be close to all the action so it suited us perfectly. The staff were super attentive. We opted for a 1 bed suite which was just perfect as we had lots of visitors. Negative: the gym is tired. The treadmill was so ancient I feared it would breakdown whilst I was on it! The breakfast was a bit of a let down. The continental offering was ok but any hot items were not up to scratch. Even though we had paid for breakfast we only went there once. We would stay here again for sure.

The initial check-in process was disastrous. Received room 3 hours after check-in time. Called Hotels.com but even the call Center consultant could not get hold of the hotel reception. The manager also could not explain the delay. Indicated that room is being cleaned and sanitised. But this should have been done prior to arrival.
Finally, checked-in after 3 long hours.
Establishment made up for it with an upgrade, complimentary dinner and late check-out. However, the delay was unbecoming of a five star establishment that does not come cheap.

This place is amazing and safe, this was my third time staying and it’s always great. Breakfast included and plenty of safe shopping and restaurants right in Sandton mall that is attached.

Very spacious, comfortable and well appointed suite. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only area for improvement resides with the curtains which do not completely block ambient light, and therefore the room does not remain completely dark once the sun rises.

Reception was brilliant, the breakfast Chef and Stix were great and Isaac at the Bar lounge gave exceptional service. Unfortunately the porters and housekeeping staff were not keen to work. One stained white towel for me is one too many at a 5 star place. It might be the staff just need to be motivated!

Great modern property, ideally located within the sandton city retail paradise.
The 1-bedroom suite was spacious, well equipped and with very comfy bedding.
Service level was up to standard as all issued I raised were duly addressed within 30 minutes.
Great restaurant (the maximilian).
All in all, great value for money! Will come back!

I stayed here 8 days and absolutely love this hotel; it has everything you need. Rooms are first class, decoration is very stylish and modern. Suite was better than expected with fully equipped kitchen, including washing machine with built-in dryer (which comes in handy if you work out every day and stay a week. . . ), microwave, fridge freezer and stove, sitting area, large table and chairs, nice couch; plantation shutter-doors to the bedroom were so cool; beds divine, shower relaxing, bathroom clean, always. The breakfast buffet, included in room price, is fantastic. Room service is very good too (chicken burger is divine!) The gym is very well equipped with 9 high-end cardio machines and limited but good working weight training machines, including ankle weights, a ballet barre (love it!) and wobble board and tons of balls and stuff do do more a-typical exercises with. Best of all, the staff is the best, nice, polite, helpful, always with a smile; they made me feel so at home and welcome.
