I was not pleased with the facilities and will not plan to return in the future. Walls are paper thin, can hear the next room. Had a hard time with the shower. Maid service non existent...no cleaning the room, not throwing trash away, no replacing empty tissue box, hand soap disappeared after first use and never replaced, a/c was loud and annoying, ...I could go on an on. Not recommending them at all.

Simple no frills motel, clean and well kept. We stayed there because of price and would do it again under the same circumstances.

The grounds were beautiful

The woodwork of the beds, tables and Motel was beautiful. The rooms are minimal, but clean and nice. We would have liked to have access to coffee other than from the office at a limited time and amount. Possibly put small coffee pots in the rooms. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

Arrived for check in, nobody was there. Had to find another place nearby to stay at.

We had a wonderful time in Gunnison. The Long Holiday Hotel was very clean, comfortable, and convenient. You will need to bring your own hairdryer.

This is the fourth time we've stayed at Long Holiday. The price is always on the low side, and it's close enough to everything. The other three times we were in a different room. This time, our bed was much firmer than our liking, and the only other room we could have had for the 2nd and 3rd nights had a bed that was just as firm. I bought a memory foam topper locally and the next two nights were fine. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay this time and previously stays. One note: Bring your own shampoo and conditioner—the supplied packets aren't easy to tear open with wet hands.

The room was not sound proof. I could hear people talk clearly from both walls. It was awful as It was loud and I could not rest. Also, they have a Hot Tub outside and I was told it was private by the front desk clerk. I thought was really strange as it appears it is for the quests as it is located out front across from the office? I have never heard of private hot tubs at hotels? The room was cute and clean. The pillows were old and thin. The room cost over $100. No Continental Breakfast etc.. I will not be staying there again.

What a quaint place. Old school type motel very clean and updated. Just what you need for an overnighter or a few days cause rooms are on smaller size. Owners very nice people. Very comfortable.

The owner was rude and charged us more than it was stated on my hotels.com booking confirmation. The rooms are small but nice however we could not sleep because it has paper walls and could hear everything from next room!

There was a hot tub on site. But it was private and only for the owners. If you want an owners only hot tub maybe don’t put it out in front of all of your guests ?

Cute, immaculate property--our room included a micro, fridge, and even a small stove and kitchen basics--bring a comfy camp chair if you want a soft place to sit. There is a cute little Yorkie puppy who may excitedly dash out of the office door when you go to get coffee in the morning. I wondered if I should let him go or coax him back inside and didn't especially like being put in the position of wrangling a puppy who needed to piddle. All in all, we had a good stay.

Clean and quiet; staff was attentive to our requests. Beds were a little stiff on the back but overall a very nice place. Excellent value for the money

The room was fine to be sure. We were snowmobiling so we had two pickups with trailers. Parking for those was tight so I would keep that in mind if you are traveling with a trailer. They do have spaces for shorter trailers, just not for a car-hauler size of trailer. The facility was in very good shape with new asphalt. Excellent highway access.

My wife and I were passing through Colorado and Monarch Pass, and needed a place to stay for the night in Gunnison, CO. My wife has always wanted to do a road-side motel - I've always been weary. Long Holiday was the PERFECT motel experience for both of us! The short and sweet of it is this: it's small, it's clean, it's pretty, and it's cheap. Overall, it's a great place to stay! They rrecently remodeled the place using furnishing and fittings of all-natural wood, so you get a craftsman-style experience at a Motel-6 price. Seriously, why aren't there more places like this? A definite thumbs-up and recommend to anyone in the area. PS - their breakfast isn't mind-blowing, but it'll get you out the door and on your way. Bring a banana!

Needed an inexpensive place to stay in Gunnison for the night and did not want to pay over $100. The place was quiet the rooms that obviously been upgraded and they were clean.

Came into town late and needed a hotel. Miss-typed the date for Long Hotel and booked the next night by accident. When we arrived at the Hotel they were fully booked that night but the manager promised to refund the miss-booked day. But when Expedia contacted the hotel the next day they refused to refund the money. The manager put a small profit above the customer and that is simply bad business not to mention he lied.

I stayed there one night to go skiing at Crested Butte as it was much cheaper than any comparable places I could find there.

Motel is clean, with updated rooms. Everything seemed "sized" for short people. The furniture, although nice, was small too. The TV was mounted on the wall in a corner, which made it hard to watch. No ice machine, so the desk clerk got us a small bag of ice. Rooms were clean, but not up to the standards we are used to. Wouldn't stay there again.

Gunnison is one of my favorite places in the world. The long holiday motel is a great family owned place. Super clean and comfortable.

Carpet dirty, deadbolt lock wouldn't lock, the washcloths were raggedy, the bed I couldn't tell if the sheets were changed, the furniture looked like they chopped down the trees outside and made it, it was awful
