Love this rental, great location and a very comfortable house. Everything was clean and it's well stocked. We'll definitely use this rental on our next trip to Gunnison.

You can sit on the couch and watch and listen to the water rippling by on the river outside the back door if your not outside setting by the fire pit. Deer visited everyday and ducks swam up the river. Great relaxing atmosphere in a quiet neighborhood. The house was just perfect for us. We would definitely stay here again.

Donna’s property is wonderful ! It’s right on the river with so much wildlife to view, ducks, fish, small birds and deer. There is plenty of space inside and out. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms are well stocked with most anything you would need. The area is secluded and peaceful! We will be returning!

The home was wonderful. We have stayed before and just had to return.

Quaint little house on the river.We had deer everyday to watch out the windows. The beds and the bathroom were small and a bit outdated. 4 adults would have been a tighter fit, but for the 2 of us, cozy! We'd stay here again!

Beautiful, convenient place. My wife and I plus my adult daughter and her significant stayed very comfortably, cooked a few meals, had a blast. We spent most of our time out and about, but this was such a great place to come home to. My wife and I fly fished everyday (creeks and rivers between Gunnison and Crested Butte), and we had a nice comfortable back deck to drop our waders, rig up our rods, hang out, happy hour, watching the rafters, fishing guides, and eat dinners. Ducks, geese, deer shared our view. Saw them everyday. The only reason I say 'almost perfect' is because I was hoping we could wade out from the backyard and fish. At least while we were there the current was a little strong, water a little high, but so it goes with any river access. It was fun enough to watch a couple boat anglers catch a couple right in front of us. Easy in, easy out. No traffic noise, peaceful.

It was such a peaceful location with rain and deer viewings included. Being right on the water made it over the top. A cabin/lodge vibe with quaint and comfortable decor. Includes lots of kitchen cooking equipment, enough to cook for a family. Note no disposal in sink. If we ever find ourselves in Gunnison again, we'd stay here. The only drawback was the one bathroom did not have a fan/vent in it.

Super easy check-in and check-out. Cozy living room, well-stocked kitchen for cooking. The beds could use replacement or at least a topper to make them more comfortable. Other than that, everything was great.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was amazing and met our needs perfectly. It was so nicely decorated and bed was very comfortable. We loved the view of the Gunnison River. We had a visitor from a young buck one day! He stayed in the yard quite awhile. We would certainly recommend and would love to come back. We did have an issue with the TV and the owner stayed on the phone with me until it was resolved which I really appreciated. The problem was not the TV but our knowing how to use!

Loved the location. Cabin is very nice but older so not like a luxury hotel. As long as you realize that, it is great. Very quiet, out of the traffic in town. Since it is by the river, there are many gnats and of course they do get into the house but that is to be expected if one knows Colorado at all. Deer came right by sliding glass doors every morning, so beautiful, and the cabin has everything you need, even a hair dryer. The only suggestion I would have is to replace the mattress in second bedroom. It is soft, but doesn't support very well since it is probably older. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. Outstanding for cabins in the Gunnison area and we have stayed in many. Also priced well compared to other lodging in the valley.

Easy, wonderful spot, everything we wanted

Had a great stay, the location was perfect. Easy access and directions. Donna was very accommodating.

We were there for a week to fly fish hike and float. Our visit was wonderful. The cottage was perfect. We are planning a return trip next year. My only recommendation is to have a larger garbage container in the kitchen.

The Gunnison River just out the patio door was beautiful and relaxing.

Property is well located for all activities in Gunnison. Property was extremely well supplied with kitchen items and all guests would expect. Renters were two ice fishermen who appreciated location to Blue Mesa!

Property was adequate a few upgrade would be nice, such as a larger trash can in the kitchen and curtains or blinds in the living room. There’s a pull out bed next to a large window and it has no blinds or curtains that could be shut. A fan or window in the bathroom would have been nice.. a broom or shovel for the front porch to clean off snow. Overall,, it was a convent location and ok. Things I mentioned would have been a nice addition. Thank you for asking.

Property was really nice. Recommend for the cost for sure. Deer came and stopped by back porch every morning. River very close to house and can see it easily. Very calm effect. Owner responsive to one issue reported during stay.

The location of the property is outstanding for access to the Gunnison River and downtown Gunnison. It was easy to find, and ingress and egress were easy. The beds were soft and slightly uncomfortable. The fridge, the shower, the coffee maker, the TV, the Internet and the heater worked as intended and desired. We had deer walk through the property daily. The property was about what we expected. Kinda no frills but it was what we needed... I would never buy the insurance option again because it really does not help you out in case of inclement weather or someone becoming ill. If there's a chance you want to cancel your trip short notice it will be difficult...
