Lovely hotel in Edgartown. Beautifully appointed rooms and common areas. Good breakfast. Walkable to nice restaurants.

The Christopher was everything you would expect an elegant inn on Martha's Vineyard to be. Our room was spacious with two balconies on two sides with french doors leading to both. The breakfast items were a delight, as were the cookies in the afternoon. Coffee and tea, plus filtered water were available all day and night. The staff was courteous and attentive, helping with travel arrangements and dining options.

We loved our stay at The Christopher. It was very convenient to shops, dinning and the waterfront. The staff was awsome. They were so friendly and nice. We didn’t have a car on the island but it wasn’t missed. The free breakfast was perfect to start the day. Our balcony was used every night and definitely worth the upgrade.

The Christopher is located in the center of town within walking distance to everything. It’s near the bike path to the beach and not far from morning glory farm which we enjoyed.
The Christopher staff are super friendly and attentive. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived.
Each morning we enjoyed the self serve breakfast bar with banana bread from morning glory farm, overnight oats, muffins, granola, juice and coffee.
We appreciated the free insight parking and a bike storage area on site as well.
The inn has charm and is beautifully decorated.
We would highly recommend staying here and would come back again

This was a lovely bed in breakfast situated just off the Main Street in Edgartown. It’s and easy walk to dinning, shopping and bars.
The hotel is beautiful decorated and the staff is delightful and accommodating. Our room on the top floor had great views, including a glimpse of the water.
It’s close to everything while still being a peaceful, potentially romantic retreat.

The location is very walkable however beware if you get a main floor room. Its very loud and our room was very small and was not pictured on the website. We felt overall it was not a good value for the price.

Our host Makala was excellent, She made us feel welcome and help us with accommodations, food, dinning and site seeing. It made our first trip to MV much better than expected. She deserves a great recognition, she is a natural. The property was quaint and comfortable

Not quite as slick and luxurious as the images appear to show. Wifi connectivity appalling. Forever losing signal and ligging back in. We have UK cellphones so needed wifi for work - and everything else.

My mother and I planned a long road trip exploring the upper East Coast with Martha's Vineyard the longest stay. We chose The Christoper and was not disappointed at all. Perfect location to downtown Edgartown. It was such a beautiful hotel. The staff was amazing, it was quiet, the bed was amazing and the best pillows ever. Wonderful breakfast each morning just enough to get you going for the day.

The Christopher was a lovely place for our first visit to Martha's Vineyard. The staff was welcoming, knowledgable, and served a lovely breakfast. The area is nice and there are plenty of dining options. I would recommend it to any friend, and would stay there again.

Great space. The common spaces and the guest rooms are very beautifully decorated. The hotel supplies a nice light breakfast. Onsite parking available. Very close to shopping, restaurants, and waterfront.

The Christopher was wonderful. Clean, quiet, beautifully decorated, and a superb location. I loved being so close to all the great shops and restaurants. Alison and staff were so helpful and accommodating and the check in/check out process was super simple. My only regret is that I wish I had stayed longer! I am so looking forward to my next visit

We loved our stay at the Christopher! The hotel was very clean, the assistant manager Helen was lovely and very knowledgeable of the area, and the location in the heart of Edgartown was perfect! Oh, and I can’t forget the delicious breakfast and home made cookies that were put out every afternoon! We will definitely be back!

Very charming walkable to local shops and dining in Edgartown. You will need a car to travel around to other parts of the island.

Superb accommodation in a renovated heritage building. Tastefully furnished. Nice breakfast with vegetarian options. This hotel has many steps so it is not suitable for those with mobility issues. My bed was too soft for my liking as I prefer a firm mattress. That is the only thing I would change. They provide free home-baked cookies every afternoon.

The breakfasts were really great! Fresh homemade scones & other pastries. The staff was so friendly & helpful! Our room was spacious, well decorated and clean! The location was ideal; quiet & close to everything. Just a few negatives, we had trouble with the temperature, it was very cold. We told one of the staff who tried to change it for us, but we didn’t see a difference. There was a slight smell that might have been coming from the cabinet underneath the sink. Otherwise, everything was great! The two staff members I particularly liked & were helpful were Hugh & Ellen.

We had a great time in the heart of Edgartown. I loved that they had beach chairs and towels for us. I would consider adding a shuttle from the ferry to guests. Overall, we had a great time.
