This place is gross. And SOOO overpriced for what it was. Doors were missing from the cabinet, stains everywhere, the skylight was broken and was covered up with warped wood. Television in the bedroom wasn’t hooked up to anything so that didn’t work. But the kitchen was just beyond gross. Thankfully, all we did was sleep there, but the bed didn’t even have a comforter. Location was good, which is what we needed, but man this is place is a s#*t hole.

This is a good place for budget vacationers that don't want to or need to pay for a beachfront property. Old Orchard Beach is close enough that an Uber ride would be cheap.
Easy access to water park next door. The hotel has a pool and some playground equipment in a central courtyard. There are several options for a family vacation, as well as smaller rooms for business travelers looking for a single night. You get what you pay for here. There are cabins, suites, and standard motel rooms. They all have refrigerators and stoves. There are some grills for outdoor cooking as well.
I've stayed here more than once. Place seems to be owned by a family rather than some billionaire somewhere, and I like that.

Cabin was nice and clean, liked the rustic retro vibes. Grounds were a bit unkempt with some things falling apart, but overall a good stay.

The smoke detector beeped all night, they left an extra battery on the counter for us apparently but that didnt work either got to sleep at 3am. But when I told him in the morning he acted like it was no big deal je would call his electrician, who cares if you didnt het any sleep last night because of it. So if they offer you room 3 dont take it!!!!!

I can’t really recommend this place , other than they have the lowest price in the area. The staff was very friendly, but the grass wasn’t mowed, there were cigarette butts all around the cabin, the microwave handle was broken, the fridge had food left in it from a previous guest, and it dripped water making a pool in the bottom of the unit. Mildew on the shower curtain. We made no mention of these things, because the cottage we were in was better than the first one we looked at. It looks like the owners are trying to improve the place, but they have a long way to go.

It was freshly painted and clean, except for the carpet which was filthy. The bed was clean and very comfortable. It had a key entrance, and we had trouble locking the door from the outside. when we left. The main overhead light did not work and although the bathroom was very clean, the faucet turned to the side in the bathtub. The person who checked us in was very nice and chatty.

One of the few reasonably priced properties. However, based on the condition of the place, it is unlikely we will stay here again. Bed mattress was very old and sagged so badly that I nearly fell out of the bed! Owners were polite.

First when we got there the fridge had 2 iches of water one the bottom shelf. I Cleaned that. Maid service was terrible. First day no beds made and half empty the garbage. And we left a good tip. The next day beds got made,she took all the towels but never gave any back.now the kitchen floor is full of water and my food got all wet from more water in fridge.This motel is very outdated. I had to put dishes away that were in a strainer under the sink and throw out old moldy butter that was left in fridge. No toiletries supplied so bring your own. Would not recommend this place.

We stayed in the "Cottage Suite" and it was amazing. So much space, great price, and the staff checked on us to see if we needed anything. Family owned and they are very friendly and accommodating. This was the perfect spot for us, centrally located to just about everything. Will stay here in the future again!

I have no idea how this place has positive reviews. It was awful! It reeked of cigarette smoke & was not clean, to top it off there was yelling & screaming half the night, then police showed up in the early hours of the morning. Walls & doors had dings where it looked liked they'd been punched in, bed linens had stains so we slept on top of the covers. Air con didn't work & the window wouldn't stay open, had to leave the door to our room open so we didn't cook. This place should not even be listed on hotels.com, disgusting!

Owners are very friendly and welcoming. Very close tons of restaurants, parks and beaches.
Room was very spacious and had a kitchenette which was super convenient. Swimming pool was fun and refreshing. Highly recommend can't wait for our next visit.

This place was great. It was clearly a bit older, but it’s family owned. We booked last minute, showed up ten minutes later, and they were so accommodating. It wasn’t anything fancy, but I’ll always support a non-chain business. Kind people and a wonderful experience.

Stayed in the 2 bedroom cottage. Was very clean. Staff was very friendly. Only 1 issue was the mattress was to soft for me. Unfortunately it rained the whole weekend.

We were very comfortable at the Sunrise Motel. I was raised in the area so I know how long the Sunrise has been in business.it takes a lot of work to keep a motel in business. Ronie and Tony are exceptionally hard workers. Trying to keep everything running to accommodate their quests is hard work. We would gladly stay there again. The Sheets

Owners were very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the shower nice and hot. The pool was clean. Our room was good overall. There was no fan in the bathroom and most windows did not have a screen. There was a bit of a smoke smell that was not pleasing. The property could definitely use a facelift. A little TLC would go a long way. Would probably stay again.

Stovetop didn't work. Fridge outlet kept shutting off. Bed covering had smushed bug on it and was never replaced. Bathroom was dirty and fan didn't work also there was something large and black under the sink counter that could have been a bloodclot. Yuck! Advertised a coffee maker but there wasn't one. Dresser drawers were broken. Kitchen cupboard door was broken too. Advertised a phone and wifi in the room. No phone and wifi passwords didn't work. No screens on the windows so couldn't open them to try to air out the stale amoke smell. They did put in a hotplate but that kept shutting off. Also advertised a pool but it wasn't open yet. Very rundown and scary property. We didn't feel safe at all.

The size of the cabin was perfect for a family of 4. It was nice and quiet. The employees were very caring and polite. Will definitely recommend and stay here again

This was just for one night but it was clean and comfortable for the 2 adults and one infant. It had everything we needed and the little kitchen would be great for someone staying there longer. The staff were extremely great to deal with and all this place needs is some paint a little TLC to be a real hidden gem.

It was clean and the owners were very friendly. If you're looking for a 4 star hotel-it's not, but we only stayed 1 night so it worked out well and the price was great. The pool looked nice but we didn't have time to try it out. The whole place needs remodeling but it was comfortable.

We are a 60-something couple looking to stay in the Saco area for 5 nights to be near family. We chose the Sunrise Motel for its low rates, thinking we would just sleep there and be with family most of the time, but the suite was so large, the owners so friendly, and the small swimming pool so inviting to our grandchildren that we spent most of our time on the grounds! Wonderful friendly hosts always available, always accommodating. Fun to talk to. 2-minute walk to Aquaboggan. 3-minute drive to Funtown and cinemas.15 minute drive to Old Orchard Beach. The bed was super comfortable, too. And kitchenette saved on food expense, although lots of good places for meals and ice cream in the area.
