Automatic lighting not great for old people.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was divine. The chef was so lovely and took great pride in serving her amazing dishes!! Would definitely stay again.

Staff is very friendly. The property itself has some drawbacks - thin walls guarantee that a single noisy guest will prevent you from sleeping. Not enough lights in the room (so it is too dark). No parking. Location is good enough and again - very friendly staff

The location is amazing, walking distance to all the restaurants and local shops. The room is very spacious and love the decor.

Everything was really disappointing : the room was almost empty, the light from the bathroom automatically switched off every minute (it's not really nice to have a shower in the dark), I had no privacy because my window was direct on the garden, no choice for breakfast and it wasn't very good, the rooftop abd the swimming pool weren't open in the evening and no light... I won't go back, that's for sure.

Excellent location wise although I wasn't so impressed with the room. We were in the old part of the hotel which unfortunately dark and and had a dingy feel. The bathroom light had a sensor which came on flooding the whole room which kept waking my husband up. perhaps not wise having glass walls? No head board on the bed, not enough plug sockets and no where to do hair and makeup. I would suggest asking for a room in the new part of the hotel which were wonderful with a lovely garden view! Lovely staff though.

We’ve been there before; shortly after it opened, so that’s why we went back. It is still a quiet, comfortable hotel in the old town. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It’s an adult only hotel, so the management work hard to maintain peace and quiet. I have one criticism about the cleaning. The walkway to the new part of the hotel is glass and was always grubby, which let down the look of the place.

This was my first stay at Lokal Boutiqe. It was a great experience in every way. The accommodations were terrific. Breakfast was exceptional, and I would specifically like to acknowledge Iman for the great job she did. I used the pool on the roof and recommend it. I have visited Larnaka over 20 times, and this was the quietest room I've ever enjoyed while staying there.

Exceptional staff and service. Provided me ice and lemonade when I was unwell. Owner even offered to make me a homemade soup - Bless 😴

Loved the design of the hotel very chic boutique in a central city location. Worth the extra ££ with a roof top pool. The bed was very comfortable and clean, the shower space was lovely. Only slight improvements i can think of was self space in the bathroom (though not sure if this wa because i had the accessible room). Also my tv remote didnt work but it was not a problem as they provide tablets with Internet access!

Lovely boutique hotel in the middle of Larnaca, only a five minute walk from the beach and 1 from Saint Lazarus church. Very friendly staff. I stayed in the old part of the hotel and the room was perfectly comfortable. Bathroom was fine, although the water could have been hotter. Good place for a short stay, but not sure I would use it for a full week.

There was no hot water. The shower would flood into the room. The pool was not in use. Would not compensate for this. And based on the fact that we booked for the use of the pool from pictures; it was expensive.

Very disappointed with our stay at Lokal. I realise it was only mid season but it felt like we were staying in a ghost town. We saw only one other guest during our stay. This wouldn’t be a problem but the hotel was clearly not ready for guests. On the second day of our 4 day stay the hot water stopped working. Eventually after 2 days of complaining, they got an engineer to fix the heating so we had one hot shower at the end of our stay. 2 hot showers over the course of our stay. The customer relations response to this situation once we had left the hotel was to fabricate a pack of lies about the water heat was set at recommended levels and there was nothing wrong with the water. Even though it was very hot on our last day. The hotel offered us the use of the hotel room until 5pm rather than the usual 12 pm checkout. Which allowed us to have that second and last hot shower of the trip. In all honesty we were not particularly interested in the late checkout. What we really wanted were daily warm showers and not the constant empty promise of hot water that took 3 days to arrive. The staff were polite during our stay - finally the breakfasts were disappointing and although included in the price of our hotel room decided to eat elsewhere locally where we had some fantastic breakfasts - local bakery was great. The area in which the hotel is situated is excellent and there are many local bars and eateries which were fantastic. 135 euros a night poor - plus pool was closed. Poor.

Let’s start with the positive. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel’s location is very close to the city center and all the restaurants, but it’s very quiet. On the negative side, very often there wasn’t any warm water. The water was just about tolerable, but not pleasant. Also, there were only two electric outlets in the room and if you use the one near the bed, you can trip on your phone on your way to the bathroom. And then the cherry on top was the “damages” that we apparently caused by residual hair dye. I’ve been dyeing my hair for 20 years and have stayed in tens if not hundreds of hotels. I guarantee that the hair dye comes off in a wash very easily and I’ve never had this problem in any of the hotels or at home, but we’ve been told that they tried washing the pillowcases and the towels twice and even took them to the drycleaner and the stains won’t come off. We of course got no proof that they even tried to wash them. Because of this, they charged us 35 EUR “discounted price” for the damages. Based on the reviews we’re not the only ones that had extra charges and it seems that the hotel charges very easily for damages no matter how imaginary they are. Considering the price we paid for the stay, the downsides are completely unacceptable and there’s apparently a track record of the hotel forcing extra charges on you, so I really don’t recommend staying here.

Excellent location in old town, beautiful architecture. Only annoying thing is the complicated sophisticated electrical /lighting system. Bathroom light opens on sensor alone which is very annoying at night. No power sockets next to the bed for phone charging. No elect socket next to the mirror for hairdryer…

The hotel had an amazing historical vibe to it combining at the same time all of the nowadays commodities. The service was very warm and friendly, room itself was really lovely and cozy. Rooftop included also a cool pool and sunbathing spots where you can relax from the busy streets. Definitely a good choice when staying in Larnaca :)

My stay was Ok, the hotel is in the old town. The whole area around is under construction. Room is clean and spacious but because it has windows around its impossible to open the blinds and it gets very hot. Overall stay is Ok.
