We were denied our stay

Ok hotel, mostly stayed there for proximity to beach and nice view from lawn. Although there was not much customer service/staff at the hotel, rooms were very clean and housekeeping was great every day. FYI for folks without kids, this hotel is full of kids. Didn’t use the pool or hot tubs because I get were full of kids all hours. And outdoor seating area near the view was also very loud due to many kids…Overall OK, but would probably stay somewhere else next visit.

The staff checking in/out were incredibly rude, they didn't get the full deposit that I paid on Expedia. I showed her the transaction and she was arguing with me telling me it was the fees Expedia charged. They don't charge fees. This was my HONEYMOON and I noted it on the reservation, no acknowledgment from the staff or a congratulations. Other places we have stayed actually seem to want your business and have done little gestures to show appreciation to their guests, something as simple as welcoming us there, the woman was rude and cold. Not this place! I spent the better part of the weekend going back and forth between Expedia and Anchorage about the missing money. We had to dispute with our credit card company before nobody would take accountability. We finally got our money back when my credit card saw my endless back and forth. It's in a nice location, food is marginal at best, but this was enough to tarnish from ever wanting to go back to this place! There are a TON of places to stay on this strip, I would highly recommend exploring them over this place any day!

There were virtually no amenities. I would consider the price for a basic room highly inflated. Very disappointed. Staff virtually invisible. Lobby locked from 11pm to 6am? Room cleaning EVERY 3 DAYS??? Disgusting. What “resort” has no vending machines (other than soda). Or small store/gift shop for necessities. The view from front of “resort” was nice.

Did not like check in as I found the clerk not very friendly. Also did not like the fact that it was necessary to specially request daily housekeeping. At $400 a night that should be a given.

I think its time we go back to housekeeping, covid is long gone. No continental nothing, not even a muffin, force you to go to the restaurant which is over priced, and really not good food. Little under whelming for me in General.

We enjoyed the outdoor space; pool, deck and lawn overlooking the ocean.

This hotel is such a gem!! From the wonderful staff (especially at the front desk. To all the amenities, it’s a fantastic stay. We’ve had the good fortune to stay in lovely hotels all over the world and the service here is impeccable!! Do yourself a favor and book a stay.

Wish we’d known about the location of the room while booking - didn’t realise it was entirely different building. Consequently, skipped using any of the facilities. The room was comfortable though basic and the bed was very comfortable. Lady at check In was very friendly.

Room had a tiny bathroom. Very loud, can hear water running and people walking around. Property is fine, but the rooms are really not worth the price.

Perfect place for a weekend getaway!

The hotel has great access to Marginal Way and sunrise is easily seen. However it is hard to get services - towels, dump trash. We stayed there four days and we had to do all that by ourselves (which we don’t mind)

I love the marginal walk an the fire pits they only thing was they were no openings for brunch on Easter Sunday an they said they would be open for dinner an bar would be open neither was true was a little disappointed with that but besides that our stay was awesome an meant some very nice people ❤️❤️❤️would definitely be back

Such a nice Bar and Restaurant but as usual the food is horrible. They did t have 2nd hot tub open so unable to use hot tub cause filled with kids. The heat wouldn’t shut off it was 80 degrees they did move us but wicked inconvenience. Sunny but freezing and they didn’t have fire pits in during the day so couldn’t really sit out and enjoy view was to cold and windy. Very little open in the area. Would not go until at least May but we will never be back to the Anchorage way over priced

The hotel and room were clean and super comfortable. I loved that we could see the ocean from our room - the only downside was the breakfast staff at the restaurant were rude and so slow to even acknowledge us after we were seated, we left without ordering. I would stay again and not use the restaurant.

Beautiful property that allowed us to walk along the water. Pool, hot tub, and sauna were great!

Loved the quick access to the Marginal Way and short walk to shops and dining.

Beautiful property in the center of town, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and right by the Marginal Way. The hotel offers a restaurant with many breakfast options and a spectacular view of the ocean. The staff is courteous and helpful. I will go back for sure on my next stay to Ogunquit.

Eileen at the front desk was amazing! She was friendly and accommodating from the first phone call for confirmation until the time we checked out. In fact all of the staff interactions were flvery friendly. The view from the hotel is amazing, with a shore path and gazebos as well as two fire pits that run lat into the night. There was also a very cool dining area with a bar at the top. This was conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants. This place was so nice that I proposed to my now fiance down by the shore path near the ocean at the end of the property. Safe to say I will definitely be returning for another stay!
