Read the reviews beforehand and they did not disappoint! This motel is obviously recently renovated / refurbished and was extremely clean and well maintained. Located in Glendale with easy access to freeway as well as many of the locations we wanted to see / do (Universal/Warner Bros/Griffith Park etc). Ralphs grocery store is right next to it as well as Starbucks - only a couple of blocks away. Glendale Galleria and Americana at the Brand are also 10minute drive / 30 minute walk away. We did both :) Staff was extremely friendly. Room is equipped with fridge, microwave and a water kettle. We were not able to get the tv to work to show basic cable however we did not even bother mentioning this to the staff because TV was not needed by us. Aircon is pretty loud but works very well. I brought earplugs since I’m a light sleeper but my fiancee had no problem sleeping with traffic sounds or aircon. There is a vending machine in front of the elevator which is also convenient. I’d like to point out that I’m extremely neurotic about cleanness. I would 100% go back here.

It was clean, comfortable and conveniently located. Plenty of food options within a 5 minute walk and stuffs open late, not too bad of a drive from Hollywood area and such as well. It was nice and quiet and they have their own parking lot which was great.

The staff was second to none. The kindness, generosity and hospitality makes if go from a hotel stay to a home away from home. Being gated, I slept better knowing I was parking in a secure place.

The day of check in, I was not able to arrive until after 11:45PM. They contacted me around 10PM to check in. I informed them that I was going to arrive 15 minutes after the front desk closing but they stayed those 15 minutes and helped us out. The room was better than I expected. I would love to get another room if I come back to SoCal

We had a pleasant stay at Motel Sakura. The room was clean and had a comfortable size. Location felt safe and had everything we needed (Restaurants, Grocery stores) close by. Communication at check-in and any other time was great and easy. Would definitely recommend Motel Sakura if you look for something close to LA!

I loved Motel Sakura and would highly recommend it! A big plus when I booked was the reasonable cost and free parking (with continuous access to your car). It turned out the parking (and hotel) was behind a security gate, which opened to let cars in and out (at least until 11pm, after which I think you may have to call to get in). If on foot, there was a side gate opened by room key card. The location, while not fancy, has excellent access to freeways, and was under 20-mins from both downtown LA and my friends in Altadena. It was also a 2-min walk from a Ralph's grocery store, which was very useful. The room and bathroom were both *huge* and everything was very comfortable. There was also a vending machine with stuff I remember from a visit to Japan :-) I'm *very* noise-sensitive, and yes the A/C units (which worked great) were a bit noisier than at a 4-star hotel, and I could hear them on in other rooms when I had mine off, but my ear plugs nicely blocked the noise. Overall, the room was very quiet and I slept very well. I'd read in other reviews how lovely the people are who run Motel Sakura, and I definitely experienced this myself. E.g. I prefer top floor rooms but checked in too late, so I asked to change rooms if one became available, and they found one and offered to move my cases for me the next day while I was out. It really makes a difference when people are genuinely friendly, smile at you, and are happy to help, all while respecting your privacy. Wonderful stay!

This is my 3rd stay and the only place I will stay at in Burbank. Consistently clean, friendly, safe and comfortable. This is a no-frills motel that meets all of my needs. It is also close to anything you could possibly need.

This was a great spot for exploring Glendale and LA. Spotlessly clean, gated parking and a ridiculously comfortable bed. Our daughter lives in Glendale and we will certainly stay here again the next time we visit!

Great location with hospitable staff, clean room, and great safety. Quite accessible to tourist attractions such as LA downtown, Dodger Stadium, Griffith Observatory, Pasadena, and LA Zoo. Strongly recommended for anyone who would visit those areas

Check in was easy! Room was nice and cold when I got there. It was clean and the front desk workers were awesome. Front desk called me 10 minutes after I checked out because I forgot my soccer jersey and I was able to swing by and pick it up. Thank you will be staying here again.

The stay would have been considered perfect overall if the elevator had been operational during our stay. Something to take note of if you are staying on the 3rd floor. Overall everything else was perfect. We enjoyed our stay. Room was comfortable. AC was comfortable. Staff was great.
