The service, location and B&B was simply wonderful. We could not have asked for a better stay, better conversation or better service. The location near the Rose Bowl was an added bonus and took the stress out of the traffic after the event. If you want a quiet, high-end experience, this is your place.

The visit exceeded our expectations.

Situated atop the beautiful hills of Pasadena, the view was gorgeous, the villa comfortable, spacious and tastefully decorated. The host was exceptionally kind and provided us with a cup of coffee and great, insightful conversation upon arrival. The cocktails our host prepared for us to enjoy with the evening lights of LA was a truly memorable experience!

The place was just gorgeous. The host was super warm and welcoming. We didn’t mind it to breakfast but he still gave us some delicious warm croissants before we left. Loved chatting and having a drink with the host as well, learned a lot from our talks as well

The breakfast which included fresh squeezed orange juice was delicious. The patios had comfortable places to sit and enjoy the views. The stairs to bedroom and private bath was easily accessible. It was interesting to talk to the owners.

The parking was a bit awkward. The zen room would have benefited from a fan to circulate the air during the heat.

Best Place in our honeymoon. TJ is the kindest host. Always available for great advices and stories. Not talking about his special lemonade... Great breakfast The Room Was Amazing. To summarize it waslike living as a LA VIP for 4 days

TJ is a perfect host. He is kind, warm, and caring. He makes you feel like a friend. We didn't book breakfast, but he supplied a wonderful breakfast every morning. His home is so beautiful and clean. The view is fantastic. If you live in a home without a view, then this is the experience you need to have. I feel there is definitely a good energy there because my companion totally changed his demeanor from an angry man to a happy man since the first night we got there till we left. This experience is so beyond our expectation and impressed us so much that none of the hotels ever did to us. Whenever we go back to LA, this will be our home.

The Patrician sits on a hill with a panoramic view of the LA area. We were the only guests that weekend and our host, TJ, was great company. They serve a very nice continental breakfast.

The stairs could be a problem for anyone with mobility - knee or hip - problems.

No TV in room. No hot breakfast. Too many house rules, including no shoes in house. Not enough patio furniture.

The location is amazing and the house is spectacular. TJ, the host makes you feel right at home. Everything is wonderful. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Literally everything. The location is stunning and the rooms are exceptional, but the hosting was truly brilliant. I am a shy introvert, but TJ created an environment where all four couples who were staying very quickly felt at ease and open with each other. It felt almost like he had hand-selected four couples who were all very different, but would find experiences in common and just enjoy each other's company. When we left, it really did feel like we were leaving old friends behind. I do not know quite how the magic of this place works, but I felt totally unwound, happy and at ease throughout our stay, and was very sad to leave and return to the the real world!

I really struggle to think of anything I would change at all. The whole experience felt so uplifting (and I am English- we don't really do uplifting easily!)

This property is so unique and decorated with beautiful furnishings from around the world! TJ is the consummate host, doing everything in his power to ensure that your experience is second to none. This was our 2nd stay and now we feel like we’re part of TJ’s family! cannot recommend this experience highly enough whenever you’re visiting the Pasadena area. Oh yea, the sunrises and sunsets from this perch high above Pasadena, are pretty spectacular too!

Breakfast, like everything else, was fabulous. Location is up in the hills, but the 270 degree view of LA (especially the incredible sunset panorama) made up for the detour.
