They property was clean and our room was very nice. The view was fantastic.

Very friendly staff at the pool. The condition of the condo was not fantastic. Housekeeping did not do a good job cleaning for our arrival.

The checking in was confusing as not all the condos were with the same organization. I felt it was very secure (condo and beach area) which I loved traveling with my younger daughter. It was clean and convenient! I would definitely recommend and go back.

The rental company never emailed me the information to check-in. they were impossible to get in touch with and then when I finally reached them, I had to drive there offices off-site to get the parking permit, etc. Made check-in take forever and was very frustrating. they said the email must have gone to span. Nope. They just never sent it. Nightmare. Do not book through Panama Gateways

The owners need to replace the dryer and stove. And they provided a charcoal grill that was not allowed to be used so while grilling we were told to put it out. Overall we had a nice stay. The resort was wonderful.

Edgewater was our "go to" vacation spot years ago and never had a problem. This time, the condo was not cleaned well (our feet were black within minutes of walking on the tile).
We had multiple issues with the unit, most of which were not resolved while we were there.
We would choose another resort in the future.

First, the unit is very dated and had an odd smell. The furniture, comforters, pillow ca sees, rugs, carpet, are all dated. The old fashioned curtains in kitchen window allow for someone on the outside to see completely through the unit to the living (beware). The TV in the secondary bedroom only picked up a game show channel. There were roaches in the kitchen (and inside fridge) and ants in the bathroom (everywhere). The water pressure in the toilets were very low. And lastly, if you plan on doing any work or streaming, being a hotspot with you, as the internet available in the unit is extremely slow even with only one device connected to it.

We enjoyed our staff at Edgewater Golf Villa.Lots of swimming pools which my kids loved.The Villa which we stayed was clean and spacous for the five of us that stayed.We would definitely go back.

We love Edgewater and have stayed there multiple times. The resort as a whole is very nice and covers everything you could possibly need when taking a vacation at the beach! Now I will say every room is different. They always have a wonderful amount of space but the beds aren't always comfortable, this time we actually had a comfortable bed, and the only issue was no extra linens for the pull out beds in the living room.

It is a gated community and parking space is available next to the entrance to the building you are staying at. For Panama City it is an important advantage. There is a good restaurant inside the complex (a total of 5 buildings) offering breakfasts, lunches and dinners. All apartments have a beach view and direct exit to the beach.
