The room was clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is in the eastern outskirts of Rapid City off I90. It is attached to a water park. The bar listed in the amenities is in the water park. The restaurant is across the parking lot and road in the Marriott Hotel. There is a very small outdoor area near the front entrance. The breakfast was pretty good, providing hot items. Overall it's a nice place located in a complex of hotels, but you have to drive back into town for everything.

Stay was good overall for a large family. Bedding was missing but the staff was quick to remedy this. The breakfast was average for a free breakfast and the coffee was good. For the price and service I would highly recommend.

Im not one to complain you guys were nice. Just need someone to check rooms with a detailed eye that's not bein done. Piece of advice for hotels ex. with animals staying. Dishwasher needs a full haul clean out full of dog hair same with window sills and in couch floor was not vacuumed someone was skippin alot of steps..which i know all to well that job sucks but hey someones gotta do it right?! P.s. keep yer voice down at the front desk about your reviews u dont like yes they can hear u but thats people right?! Keep your heads up! And make that place good again and make the job fun..thats all u can do...

Great stay!

Check in clerk was not friendly, our kitchen was poorly stocked, our floors were never cleaned until our last day there, unsupervised children running down hallways late in the evening, dishwasher had leftover dishes that created a smell in the kitchen area. Will not return to this hotel in the future.

The property is just a little tired. The room was clean, but the linens were piling and very thread bare. I was EXTREMELY frustrated that I had prepaid for the one night, Saturday, 8/17/24. Due to an unfortunate circumstance we had to leave a day later, 8/18/24. Which meant I had to slide all of my hotel reservations a day. When I called the property directly at approximately 12:30pm/1:00pm to ask if I could change my arrival by one day to Sunday, 8/18/24, the person on the phone was rude and said because I had booked through a third party, Expedia, I would have to call them directly. I explained I was a Hilton Honors member and they said it didn't matter. When I called Expedia immediately after my call to the HOME2 Rapid City, I was told no one answered at the property, but they would email the property and continue trying to reach someone. I called a few hours later to check, and I was told the "property" wasn't willing to work with me on refunding the pre-pay, or sliding it to the next night, 8/18/24. When we arrived at the property, HOME2, Rapid City, the receptionist told me that no one from Expedia had ever reached out until Sunday, 8/18/24 mid morning. She said they would have been happy to slide the reservation to Sunday, 8/18/24 without any additional charges "if" they had heard from Expedia on Saturday, 8/17/24. Especially because I was a Hilton Honors member. So in the end, I paid for a room we never stayed in AND a new reservation for Sunday, 8/18/24.

Great places to eat near by and friendly staff!

The water park was a blast for my family. The hotel stay was okay. The pull out mattress was badly stained which was disgusting. The room also smelt bad. A remodel should be in the near future.

Great property for a longer stay or with a larger group. Nice rooms with comfy beds and clean kitchenettes. Love the fact it’s attached to a water park and other hotels.

The a/c made a terrible noise all night long. The bed side light did not work. No explanation on the water park resort entrance fees.

Horrible room with very dirty carpet and the front desk did not even make an effort to help resolve.

Several lights did not work. I wasn't in the room that long unless I was asleep so I didn't really mind.

Staff was friendly

This hotel is brand new and everything was exceptional! Our room has big fridge, dishwasher, sink garburator. You can also borrow convection stove in the front desk so you can cook in your own room. The bed was very comfy. The breakfast was really really good! No complains about this hotel. Will def come back of ever we go back to this area

It was an amazing trip and stay

This property was easily accessible via the interstate and offered amenities such as free breakfast. The mattresses, pillows, and bedding needs to be updated. The housekeeping was limited and the bare minimum was done on the days that the room was serviced.

This location was okay however not as great as other Home 2 suite locations.

We stay at this motel every time we are through the area. We love everything about it, especially the large, spacious rooms.

Room was noisy. Children running above us and dogs barking next door. Broken wall lamp, broken shower head. Room phone didn't even have a cord to call down and report issues

There only issue we had was the pool was very dirty and there were no umbrellas or any type of shade 😔

Description indicates full kitchen which is not even close to accurate. Don’t plan on cooking! With a family of 6 we try to economize whenever possible. Got to the room to find a microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Absolutely no way of cooking actual food as a full kitchen would indicate. We noticed a sticker stating we could ask the front desk for a plug in cook top. Got that an d it came with a small fry pan (small for like a single egg). There was another small fry pan in the room. Again that’s not “full” kitchen accommodations. We had to go to Walmart to buy our own sauce pans to even begin to cook anything. Also, we got in our room to find barely a quarter roll of toilet paper and only enough towels for 4 even though our room is a 6 person occupancy. Had to go back to the front desk to get those supplies especially since room service is only every other day. Which I don’t know about other people but in 90degree summer days, I prefer to shower daily. So I did have to go and ask fire more wash cloths the second night. Everything was clean and breakfast was delicious. But the description is seriously misleading and I was not happy about spending even more money on things what should have been provided.

This hotel room was spacious and well appointed. It was convenient to the interstate and in a newer area of Rapid City (at least it seemed to be). Hotel staff was kind and helpful.

The property did not meet my expectations. While the room was spacious, it was extremely dirty. We encountered an issue with a broken lamp, which I promptly reported to the staff. They assured me it would be removed that day, but it wasn't taken out until the third day. They also said that they would clean our room every other day, which they failed to do; our room was never cleaned. Based on this experience, I would not recommend staying at this place.

Disappointed in the listing on Hotels.com. The listing makes it seem like there is a water park in this hotel, only to find out it’s in the adjoining hotel and you can PAY to go to it each day. I made sure and double checked with my husband that everything I was reading was correct before booking that the water park was included in our stay and was at our hotel. My kids were disappointed to say the least. We went for usual tourist attractions so a pool would have been nice to relax at in the evenings but I can justify paying $30 for the water park for a couple hours. Had I known, I would have stayed somewhere else that had a pool. The room was nice but the pull out bed was dirty. As well as the sheets had stains on them.

Good location and adjacent to the water park made this hotel a good choice for our weekend stay.
