This has become my go to hotel for whenever I am in Muscat. Very reasonable price and great amenities. Would love to have stayed longer

This hotel is value for the money you pay. It is not near anything (a small supermarket across the road), convenient for the airport though. The hotel has several restaurants but only one is open any given day. The rooftop terrace is also behind a locked door when the roof restaurant is not open. Pool is small and often doesnt have space. The rooms are ok and clean enough.

Lovely stay at Centara. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice service. Used the massage service which was nice. Didn't try the food though. Staff very friendly and welcoming.

Centara was once a good hotel. That is evident. But, at this stage, it's resting on its laurels. The rooms are nice and large, but housekeeping suffers. I killed a cockroach in the room, but the hotel never followed up with pest control, even after I had reported it. There's a nice pool on the roof, but it needs maintenance. The gym is quasi abandoned. Staff is inattentive and dismissive. They're not rude. They fake interest and never follow up on requests. A good manager will whip Centara into shape, but they need to have in place.

Where do I start. This is THE WORST hotel we have ever stayed. The whole hotel and hallways smell like dead fish. Our room was nasty. There was hair on our bed sheet and the pillow cases were stained. We asked to change our room. The new room wasn’t any better. There was a hole in our bed sheet and the shower drain wasn’t working properly. We ended up not taking shower at all. The washroom was not cleaned and it felt disgusting. We were missing hand soap and when given one, it was broken. The towels smelled like they haven’t been washed. I wouldn’t recommend thid hotel to anyone.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was very spacious and beautiful, the spa was amazing and the staff were helpful and courteous.
The only issue I had was the hot water temperature was never hot, only lukewarm during my 4 day stay.
Aside from that I had a wonderful time and plan to stay at the Centara the next time I am travelling to Oman.

Ok hotel, far from everything. Worst thing was smoke smell in the room even if the room was no smoking! When reported, they offered to spray some dehodorant.

Fantastic, clean, modern, comfortable hotel. Certainly not the most central or interesting location (Ghana), but given that you need a car anywhere in Muscat, it kind of doesn’t matter. Located very near the Grand Mosque.
The rooms were perfect and the beds and linens were so comfortable. Can’t recommend enough, unless you are looking for a hotel with a bar and built in night life.

My husband and I were amazed by the breakfast included in our reasonable nightly room charge. The bountiful array of freshly prepared foods offered buffet style included a half-dozen foods of Thai origin, a half-dozen foods of Middle Eastern origin, and a half-dozen foods familiar to Americans or Western Europeans. Some of these changed day to day. We could choose among maybe 10 types of fresh breads and rolls, plus many types of cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables. Various juices, teas and coffees were available. My husband, who has traveled extensively on business, declares that it was the best breakfast buffet he has ever seen.

This is not a 4 star hotel. We did not like it at all. This is why:- the service was too slow;- the towels were not white;- the whole place smelled like a cheap perfume salon;- the hotel is located too far from all tourist attractions.The personal was very friendly though.We will not stay there again.

Very modern, super friendly staff, spacious rooms. Good parking at front of hotel. A bit inconvenient to get around Muscat as it is far away from the old part of town. Having a car is essential. The area around the hotel is a tad under developed but that is not an issue. All in all would happily stay at this hotel again.

The staff are helpful and well trained. The rooms are comfortable. They had plumbing issues that I reported to reception. The only disadvantage is that with the solar system, the water isn't warm enough to my liking and the receptionists should inform the visitors on how to get hot water as of day one.

This is actually a very good 3*/4* hotel but the location is not very good. I had a few issues with the room which I expect will be resolved by management
