Beautiful view! My room was spotless!

The suite was roomy, quiet and clean. The view of the ocean is spectacular. Love that you could see the ocean from almost every room. The property is located in an area where you are not too far from shopping, eating, and entertainment. We will definitely be returning on our next vacation!!!!!!

Amazing view! Enjoyed our stay

The Ester Lee has a beautiful oceanfront view. The cottage was comfortable and we enjoyed the view from the bed. It's an older motel so the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

The Ester Lee was perfect for my gateway. The view of the ocean was a must for me and the Ester Lee checked all the boxes for that. I rented a cottage and the space was amazing for my teen kid and I. Beach access too!

The rooms are old. But we knew that coming in. We have stayed here before. The views are spectacular from any room and you are right in the middle of everything to do in Lincoln City. The bed was comfortable and the shower/hot water worked. We really needed just a place to sleep, so it worked for us. FYI: No AC. So that might be a problem in the summer.

Comfortable beds, ocean view, we slept well. The fixtures are well used in this older facility, but the staff were professional and friendly, and access to the beach right down the hill.

It was very clean. The weekday price was reasonable. The view is spectacular. You have to walk a bit to get to the actual beach.

We had a minor problem when we first checked into our room and Ben, one of the manager’s went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best…I give him a 20. We love, love, love this property. Dave, Deb, our fur babies Sophie and Ruby

We love to stay at the Ester Lee. Great value: The rooms are like little cottages with a kitchen & dining table. There is a sofa in front of the full width picture window looking on the beach & ocean. We saw whales and sea lions. Downside for 70 people was the room was the farthest away from the dog area and at the top of a steep flight of stairs. We have always enjoyed walking down to the beach from the Ester Lee, but no more. When we inquired at the office, we were told beach access was no longer available and we had to drive to the public access near Moe's restaurant.

This is an older property but its in decent condition. The view is nice and the bed was comfortable. The location is fairly close to everything of interest. I would stay here again.

Beautiful beachside room. No coffee—just the “coffee teabags” in room. Construction going on that has beach access closed, afirmaste route to beach makes for a fun, challenging morning run but would rate moderately difficult—not for everyone.

The bathroom fan could use some work. We loved our stay and the kitchen had enough pots/pans to cook with.

The ocean views are great! The staff was very friendly. The facilities were clean. They are very accommodating to dogs here. The main thing we didn't like was the uneven walking surfaces throughout the property. Given our current mobility situation, it made it a bit difficult.

I don't know why this place has such high rating. Yes some rooms have front row ocean view but know that is it when you're booking. The room we stayed at was super outdated and we could tell that the ownership doesn't care about updating this place. It's like travelling back in time in a bad way. The bathroom was tiny with no space to change. Floor was squeaky with smelly carpet. The staff however seemed friendly. The did try calling us to inform we left some item behind which was nice of them. The location was convenient to get to Depoe Bay. Know that you're paying for the view and nothing else. The online photos of the room are vert misleading.

Ocean view was excellent, bungalow was somewhat ancient but clean. Shower facility was excellent. Access to beach was difficult because of construction. Pet friendly option was a plus.

Awesome views from the room, spent hours watching wildlife. Close proximity to everything. Roadside units get a bit noisy in the early hours of the morning. We would stay there again !!

Clean affordable and great views. Hard to find a room with a kitchen. I enjoyed cooking dinner and breakfast. Family friendly.

The hosts were some of the best we have ever had. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and when we needed help they took care of it immediately.

Amazing experience! We didnt want to go home. So roomy and comfortable. It is older, but very well maintained. The view was top notch, with big wrap around windows. Good location. Will definitely be back.

We stayed at EL a couple of decades ago and have fond memories. This time they put us in the "new" section. i give it a 4-star because of the killer wall to wall view. We got the kitchenette which was helpful. They accommodated our 'ground floor' request. There is not daily maid service, and they want you to wash all your dishes.. that's fine, but how do i know the washed dishes are sanitized? Bathrm small. But most dangerous is the step-in into the room is so high and uneven, my husband who walks w/ a cane tripped and fell badly. And i tripped on it 2x The tradeoff between 'old' section and 'new' section is the old is pet friendly. I think I'd try there next time.

The staff was great. Room was clean. Basic room with a great view and convenient location.

The view was fantastic, the room smells of cigarette smoke. The hallway to the room was dirty. The property was not kept up. It’s very bland property not much landscaping. However I didn’t let that bother the peace and serenity that I was feeling with the amazing view . It was worth it to me just for the view.

One of the best places I have ever stayed, this is the second time I’ve stayed at the Ester Lee. Clean, beautiful view of the coast and easy access to the beach. Definitely will stay again when we are in the area.
