Every aspect of our 4 night stay was top notch. The staff, the property, the free breakfast, WiFi, pool, and location. Can highly recommend this place. It was tremendous!

Historical property in a great location- near the Centrol area. The bathroom for our room was 12 steps up a stairway, which is not ideal in the middle of the night!

Great property but we never had hot water even after letting it run for more than 10 min as directed by staff.
Bathroom was up a flight of very narrow stairs so if you need to use the restroom in the night you will need to be careful.

Only five blocks away from Plaza Central. Completely safe to walk at night. The most attentive staff work in this beautiful and quet establishment. These people will go above and beyond during your stay to really make you feel at home.

The breakfast was hearty and tasty and the overall price was great. The hotel had an altar for Dia de Los Muertos and allowed us to put our family pictures on it. The staff even framed our pictures which was so kind and generous. Excellent stay.

The common areas are historic and beautiful. The staff were very attentive. Breakfasts which were included were very good.

The property is in a great location and the staff is incredibly nice. However, we were a little disappointed in the quality of the room. Our sink basin was a bit dirty; the main light fixture did not work; and the bed can use some nicer linens. Perhaps most disappointing was the mattress, which was covered in crinkley plastic. Things that we really enjoyed are the traditional colonial style architecture, the included breakfast, access to a private parking lot, and the bar and bartender.

The bed is wayyyy too small.The "double bed" fit 2 adults lying straight like a mummy. My wife and I could not move our limbs at all, or we could have hit each other.

I recommend this hotel to anyone who will travel to Merida! It’s location, it’s authenticity, its comfort is beyond doubt amazing. But most importantly the service you get, the friendliness of the staff was exceptional. We felt so much at home and so happy to have chosen viva Merida! The breakfast, the atmosphere alll great. Thank you so much!

We didn't like this hotel too much. The room and furniture was very old and staying there was kind of scary. It looked like there was no other guests except us. I wouldn't stay there again. But well at least it was clean and the lobby looked cool. Not sure about safety as someone stole our wheel discs while we were parking few meters from the hotel.

The entire hotel provides you a real life feel of El Centro.
The staff was very polite and extremely friendly.
The free breakfast is provided in the inside patio which is quite charming.
Great location that is close but not too close to "Plaza Grande" and to several great restaurants.
