First thing to say is that all the staff are amazing and cant do enough for you. Special shout out to Bina who was so friendly and approachable and looked after us, even coming to our room for a chat. The resort is around 400 to 500 rooms, but for our time here we stayed in the Palace section which was very quiet. Never had any issues getting a sunbed by the beach or pool. The sea is nice and wavy and the pool was nice. Food, various restaurants on site and also local ones in walking distance. Breakfast had a good selection of items to start the day. For a relaxing holiday with no pressure, we enjoyed the Ayodya Palace.

PROS AMAZING HERITAGE HOTEL - BUILT IN THE BALINESE WAY - LUV THE MAIN LOBBY & ENTERANCE NICE CHECKIN AREA FOR THE PALACE SECTION LARGE ROOM & WASHROOM COMFORTABLE BED GOOD SHOWER BEACH HATS/ BAGS/ SLIPPERS ALL PROVIDED AMAZING BREAKFAST IN THE PALACE LOUNGE AMAZING COMPLIMENTARY HIGH TEA & SNACKS IN THE PALACE LOUNGE AMAZING COMPLIEMNTARY DRINKS & SNACKS AT THE PALACE LOUNGE SEA VIEW FROM THE ROOM BALCONY AMAZING BEACH INFINITY POOL PRIVATE POOL FOR PALACE SECTION HOTELS GROUNDS ARE GREEN/ WELL MAINTAINED/ WATER BODY IS PLEASING CONS LEAKING AC IN ROOM SHOWER DRAIN TOOK TIME TO CLEAR NO HOT WATER IN THE SHOWER - TOOK THEM AN HR TO FIX ALL 3 POOLS ARE DEEP - THEY SHOULD MAKE ATLEAST 1 POOL MAX 4 FT FOR FAMILIES WITH GROWING KIDS INDIAN RESTAURANT SERVED STALE SAMOSAS FOR BREAKFAST - WHICH DID CAUSE DISCOMFORT FOR HALF A DAY THE BEACH IS FILTHY FROM ALL THE TRASH THAT WASHES ASHORE - HOTEL NEEDS TO HAVE A PAYLOADER CLEAR THE TRASH EVERY MORNG AFTERNOON AND EVENING - ONE CAN HAVE A GRAND HOTEL ANYWHERE - BUT WHEN YOU COME TO NUSA DUA - THE USP IS THE BEACH - IF THE BEACH IS FILTHY - NO POINT THEY DID IT ONCE DUIRING MY STAY OF 2 NIGHTS - MANUALLY - THE 2 COLLECTORS JUST COULDNT COPE UP WITH THE VOULME OF TRASH & WORSE THEY PUT IT INTO PITS THEY DUG ON THE BEACH - AND A LOT OF THIS TRASH IS PLASTIC & GLASS BOTTLES

Really clean and nice resort. Staff are really helpful and greet you with smile. Food quality is also good.

Authentic Balinese design

Pretty modern convenient hotel with a touch of local character. Had a very good stay. Stuff is friendly and helpful, quickly responding to all requests.

This property was lovely. The staff are friendly and helpful, and everything you need is available at this hotel. The rooms are clean and beautifully maintained, as are the grounds and pools. Bali Collection is a 10 minute walk away, or a $5 taxi ride.

Wonderful property in a nice safe location. The building is a bit worn and needs refurbishment and more power points.

Fantastic place! We stayed somewhere else for a few nights and were going back. Out favorite hotel ever!!

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. In room fruit basket has a nice selection which is replenished daily. Rome service was excellent, the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Good choices for the free daily breakfast and along with the afternoon tea (no charge) and evening cocktail hour (also free) with snacks there was plenty of food. The highlight of this property though is the incredible always smiling always there to help you staff. AMAZING is the only way to describe this experience.

The property ground is gorgeous, the beach was calm and the water color is amazing, different shades of emerald. But the staff at the restaurant and the palace lounge, Ms. Ayu and Ms. Sukawati are the cherry on top as they the friendliest and sincerely wait on us. The service was excellent. They even have kecak dance in the theatre. The breakfast at the Ayodhya palace lounge was great and it is next to one of the pools. There are 3 pools in this hotel and they are all gorgeous. We (my partner and I) was so happy and grateful for this place. We definitely will go back to Ayodhya Palace.

The service, hospitality of the staff, meal was good, but we are little bit disappointed at deterioration of the room and facilities.

The staff at the Ayodya made my 50th birthday celebration VERY memorable! They went over and beyond to make me feel like a loved family member versus a paying guest at their establishment. I stayed my first night in the Baratha Suite for the oceanview. The remaining 3 nights were spent in the Kausalya Suite for the private pool. I did encounter a few issues with the room but the staffs eagerness to please outweighed those issues.

This not young but well kept classic style hotel .Large green area with ponds and large swimming pools. Nice sandy beach

Really wonderful property and amenities. Little difficult to communicate with the staff prior to the visit by email however. This is quite inconvenient when you are unfamiliar with the area and country. Butler service was really convenient and they were very responsive. Overall, would recommend.

The most beautiful place to take a vacation. The staff is so sweet and accommodating. I went for my birthday and was greeted by a birthday cake in my room courtesy of my butler. The concierge service is amazing as well. Truly a place to have an amazing getaway.

A very beautiful property, with attention to detail in all aspects of décor and landscaping. Definitely not the standard international chain hotel blandness - building has real charm and character. The staff also make a major contribution to the guest experience: whether at breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktails + Canales, late at night when using the lounge, the staff are always friendly and eager to help. the quality of food served is also noteworthy, the quality and range of daily canapes makes cocktail time an event not to be missed.

Very good experience. We had upgraded to a beach view but were not told that the room across the corridor was being renovated. Also we couldn’t sit in our balcony in the evenings as they had very loud music (Big Bang) outside from 5-11pm which marred our experience. The staff & the service was excellent

Ayodya Palace Lovely place to stay, resort opens upon a beautiful beach, excellent spot to swim. Resort facilities are very nice, and the resort itself is set upon beautiful cared for gardens. All the staff were so friendly and beautiful. The restaurants at the resort are excellent, and food was always of high quality. We loved the little market style stalls set on the beach, the fresh grilled fish station was excellent! And highly recommend. Bali Collection is a short walk (10 Mins) away and offers a range of restaurants and shops for exploring. Our only complaints with the Ayodya Palace is;The Expedia booking says ‘free airport transfer’ and it’s means exactly that! One way only, which should be written more clearly in the booking page, to elimate confusion. The Aydoya will charge you $25 AUD for a one way airport transfer, I recommend using a meter taxi that will cost you $10 AUD instead. And secondly, we stayed during a sporting event which we were aware of during booking, the sporting event itself was quite exciting, but unfortunately being awoken at 530am by a screaming microphone that lasted until 10am in the ‘Palace’ area of the resort wasn’t very good. Considering guests paid a premium to stay in that area, many guests that morning were unhappy with this. And the response from reception staff wasn’t too satisfactory. Maybe next time these events are on, offer guests to stay in a different area of the hotel? To elimate the noise pollution?
