Only hotel we stay at when we come to MD

Quick 1 night to escape bad weather while making way back to home from Florida. Quick, easy check in and friendly staff.

When I got to my room I seen food particles on the floor and I didn’t understand why . Also during breakfast time I got some potatoes and it was a long hair in my food I know it was not mines because I have dreads I didn’t even want to eat anymore and I will not be booking at this location again

The front desk stole 260 dollars off my card and refused to call the manager or refund the money the manager said she’d take care of it but when she arrived she “took care of it” and left without a word a email or anything now I’m without money that I need to go on vacation

Excellent Customer Service and well keep property

Breakfast was not ready. Breakfast starts at 6:30, we go down to get breakfast before getting ready and no one was around. Come 8:15, only thing ready was bagels and couldn’t even toast them because the toaster was broken. Had to go get breakfast elsewhere and the lady at the front desk refused to help us out on the price because it wasn’t her fault. We had to spend an extra $20 to eat out and delayed us even longer. Staff were not friendly and didn’t not want to help us. Checking in, had to wait 2 minutes while the guy right in front of us was texting on his phone. Rooms were nice but probably won’t stay again.

I loved the friendless of the front desk staff. They were accomodating, as well.

Location, peaceful, size of room, breakfast and bar in the lobby area.

All good except for the fact that I have to ask for soap bar for my room.

My friend & I checked in about 730pm on a Sunday & we were the only ones in the lobby. We walked up to the front desk, and I cheerfully said hi to the lady behind the counter, who replied with “just a minute“ and walked over to a cooler, grabbed a drink, and a snack, came back and then proceeded to try to ring it in on the register, over and over again, my while my friend, and I just stood there waiting. After she made about six attempts, she finally stopped and said “name”. She was quite curt and unfriendly. I did not get her name but later that evening we returned, and there was a guy behind the counter named Kevin and he was super nice and accommodating and friendly. Then we checked out the next morning and there was another lady there and she was also terrific. I loved the design of the hotel, and it was pretty clean, although there was no soap in the room, but we got some from Kevin. All in all, it was a very nice day with the exception of the unfriendly person that initially checked us in.

Lodgers had to wait in line for someone to arrive to check them in for the night. There were obvious staffing issues. One of the beds in our two bed room room was very obviously dirty from the prior lodger. We chose to sleep in the clean bed rather than sleep in our own. The soda dispensing machine in the lobby was obviously broken but staff said that they did not own the machine, rather than placing a sign on it that warned lodgers that it was malfunctioning (I watched 3 people after me place coins in the machine, no soda was dispensed, change was not refunded. It was a sad experience.

Staff makes you feel like an inconvenience. Front desk staff was on the phone watching a video, bar attendant was sitting on the phone she was not identifiable as the bartender and the staff responsible for breakfast was busy on the phone while making coffee. Staff & service needs better management and should not be allowed to use their phone. Would be nice to have more healthy options for breakfast.
