Stefano is warm and responsive, the room is comfy and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom is luxurious and well stocked! Perfectly located to walk around the town of Como and get to ferries and buses.

I had thought this was a hotel but it was actually more a B&B with rooms in an apartment style building. It room was lovely and had a fabulously large bathroom. Everything was very clean and had a well-stocked free minibar. You could also see beautiful Lake Como from our window. It was easy to walk to everything you needed and right on the water in the center of town. We could not have asked for more. The only issue was Expedia relayed our information incorrectly - stating we were a couple with a baby but my daughter is a teenager so they didn't expect another bed. However, the owner and caretaker immediately fixed our issue and did not charge us any different in price which was so wonderful of them. I would highly recommend this B&B!

Stephano provided excellent directions to find the accommodation upon arrival. As well as met us up front to explain the key system in person. The multiple keys needed to enter the building provided an extraordinary sense of safety while traveling. The room was clean, had a beautiful view of lake como and completed with complimentary bottle of Prosecco and such necessities like towels, shampoo, etc. Stephano was amazing providing recommendations for travel, food and such around the town. He also was easily contactable for all our needs via WhatsApp chat. The location is ideal walking distance to ferry, train, shopping and dining. The funicular is just minutes away too.This wonderful stay made our trip less stressful and more enjoyable!

Stefano is kind, gracious and very accommodating. We would stay again! The location is fabulous, across from the lake, close to all amenities including ferry for the lake, train station and taxi stands. Great shopping near by. I almost hesitate to give it such a great review as this place really should be a treasured secret!

As advertised. The property is slightly dated but had a beautiful modern bathroom. Right in the centre of Como. We were very comfortable for our stay.

Great location and huge bedroom with an even bigger bathroom. B&B advertised but no breakfast so not B&B in the true sense. In saying that lots of cafes and restaurants very close so no problem. Free mini bar also which is lovely. Would stay again.

Proprietor took the effort to email us the day before check-in to learn when we would arrive, so that someone would be there to take care of us. We appreciated the complimentary water and juices in the mini-fridge. Property was very convenient to the waterfront.

This property has an excellent location and stefano met me there. Had bottled water and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco when I arrived. I was a lone traveller but felt completely safe in and around the property and surrounding area No breakfast option, but great little bakery as you turn left out of the front door. 5 mins walk to the furnucilar and same for the bus station, to get local buses to Bellagio C30 and other places or no 5 across the street to san giovanni train station, lago train station opp bus station. The only down side was that there is no luggage storage after checkout. Highly recommend this property

Property is in a nice location, and is different to the standard hotel, it is an apartment within a block, and is very safe. Bathroom is huge. Stefano was a great host.

L'Approdo di Sant'Agostino was fantastic. Stefano (the host) was very helpful and even left a very nice bottle of prosecco for us to enjoy during our stay. The location is perfect, just a few steps away from the lake and train station. The accommodation was very clean and very large, and is also very well equipped with coffee making facilities and Stefano even supplied water (inc. sparkling too), some cartons of juice and a couple of cans of Coke. The bathroom especially is very modern but doesn't take away from the authentic Italian decoration in the bedroom (main room). If you're undecided, you should book this accommodation before it inevitably sells out. Highly recommended!

Unique experience - it was right off the lake. The couple who greeted us were very kind and thoughtful, but they didn’t speak any English only Italian and French so it was a fun experience. The place is super clean, quiet (with the windows closed), comfy and they gave us a bottle of wine, on the house, as a welcome gift. It was hard to find, you definitely need some help finding the place, but don’t give up, just ask the locals and they will help you find it. Parking is a bit a of an issue, yellow spots are for the residents blue are for the guests.

Fantastic stay! Stefano is a lovely guy and great host. Our room was spotless and had huge bathroom. Bed was amazing, like sleeping on marshmallows! Apartment is 2 mins from train station, bus station and ferries. Lots of bars and restaurants too. If you stay you must go on the Furniculor which is 5 mins walk and goes to the top of the mountain Brunate, which is beautiful x

The accommodation at L’Approdo was superb. The room was incredible with a real old world charm about it. Stefano was a fantastic host. His communication was before and during our stay was excellent. The area has plenty of food choices to select from and is walking distance to most sites. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Great communication for the stay! Loved the location and size of the room

One of the best hotel/B&B stays ever. Stefano greeted us on arrival & oriented us with the building and room facilities. We loved the modern bathroom mixed with the vintage bedroom style. The bathroom fixtures, designated shower area and standalone bath were brilliant. Even though it was in the middle of winter, the accommodation was heated comfortably. The bed was cozy and we slept very soundly. The area was quiet even though it’s close to the promenade. We enjoyed the number and variety of snacks plus coffee + tea-making facilities. We also had adequate drinking water supplied with the room. The location is perfect for the lake, Como Lago train station, funicular station and eateries. Really good value-for-money. Stefano was always contactable and friendly. The points of improvement would be perhaps to add handrails/ no slip flooring in the shower area as it gets slippery when liquid soap is used; cleaning stains in the shower grout (understandably these stains develop over time very easily); using less plastic for water bottles + toiletries; and better internet connection as this tended to be very slow or drop altogether.
