The rooms are lovely in this little boutique hotel, it is located at the top of Gaul fort and easy to park and find. The staff are very good and helpful. They make good coffee. We didn’t eat here other than a dessert but the quality was good. The restaurant is small though and there are no other facilities but for a comfortable room you can’t go wrong

A very comfortable and stylish hotel a short walk from the busiest streets in Fort Galle. Helpful staff and a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast with nice touches such as fruits in the room and cooling towels on arrival made this an excellent place tonstay.

The layout of the hotel could be better—the restaurant is in the front but the kitchen is all the way in the back, and air does not circulate too well in the patio. We chose the Yara Galle Fort as an alternative to the higher priced hotels in the Fort area like Galle Fort Hotel. The room and the hotel overall was spotless and nicely decorated. Staff were helpful and friendly without being pushy. If we were to return to Galle we would definitely book here again.

Yara Galle Fort is a lovely little place off of the main touristy areas of Galle. There is a small garden on the interior where you can sit and read or take meals. The meals that I had were good. From the location you can easily access the ramparts on the western side of the fort. There are two rooms adjacent to the restaurant and lobby that can be a bit loud but otherwise it is quite comfortable.

The location of the hotel was not far from the main entrance so getting in and going out were easy. I got in, dropped off my luggage and took a stroll to the rest of the fort area.

We loved the staff here, especially the chef. They are so warm and kind. Construction going in so a bit noisy.No alcohol but they have lovely high teas.Location good—you can walk to train station or town.

Architecture of the building was interesting. The staff were generally helpful although we did have an issue with being overcharged for breakfast but they did fix that up quickly when it was pointed out to them.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel that has been thoughtfully restored. Staff was attentive and very helpful. The traditional Sri Lankan breakfast was fantastic. The room was beautifully appointed and very comfy. The hotel is within walking distance to everything within Galle Fort.

Loved our stay! Beautiful decor in our room and throughout the hotel, sublime and peaceful outdoor lounge area, superb bed and very clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. Great value in Galle and a short (5min) tuk tuk ride to the train station.

Lovely hotel near the main entrance inside Galle Fort. It is in a quiter area. Very attractive entrance way and nice outdoor seating area for the restaurant. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly. We liked our room which was spacious and located on the upper floor. It had high ceilings, AC and a ceiling fan. Bed was comfy as were pillows. Breakfast was good. Front desk staff were helpful in giving advice on things to do in the fort area. We stayed 3 nights. We would go back to this hotel and would recommend to friends.

This hotel does not have a pool but it makes up for the lack of pool with good service and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel did not have a licence for alcohol so you could not have a drink here of that sort. The rooms were good size and clean. The bathrooms great. Noise levels low and location very good. Short tuc tuc ride into Galle if shopping is needed.

Such a relaxing place, walking distance from every coffees, restaurants and shops. Dessert on the front porch at the end of a hot day was really satisfying ! The service was impeccable and a plus is the Sri Lankan breakfast option which we had not seen anywhere else in hotels. Would recommend !

New, elegant decoration, cosy, great staff, excellent location. Overall a great place to stay and relax. Much appreciation to the staff who went to the town center, bought and brought back 2 boxes of effective Sri Lanka herbal tea for taking care of my flu and cold-like symptoms. We loved our stay. We stayed for two nights and had a wonderful time!! The staff were very thoughtful and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible..after asking our plans they went ahead and made us a goodie bag to take on our excursion at 5am in the morning. It was great that the staff always asked when b'fast/dinner should be served!
The hotel is a relatively new establishment and is tasefully decorated with a central location which is an asset to its visitors. The hotel is maintained by a young energetic staff who gave us an impeccable service!!

Newly built hotel. Excellent personalized service. Great food and drinks. Two minute walk to the beach. 15 min walk from the central bus stand,railways station and the town area. All attractions within the fort area at walking distance. Courteous and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.
