Great stay, very convenient location. Transit stop out the front door, 3 minutes to a large mall and a short walk to many different restaurants. Good beds, clean room. Laundry available.

It was a pleasant, no frills stay. There was a hot plate so I could have cooked, which is nice for a small place without a restaurant, but the fan in the bathroom didn't turn off, so that was a bit noisy at night. (Turns out it's supposed to turn off after some time if the bathroom door is shut and light off, but pretty sure I shut the door because of the noise and it was still going the next morning!)

Comfortable air conditioning and bed. Room was adequate size for queen room for one night stay. Only one water glass and one wash cloth for 2 people, but 2 towels.

Lovely, safe and quiet motel in fantastic location. Our room was in the top floor and had a wonderful view of civic and black mountain. There’s a neat little cafe downstairs making great coffee and check-in was a breeze. Parking can be a little tricky and you have to park in the nearby Canberra centre. But there’s a drop off area out the back to unload and you have the added benefit of an easy walk to nearby pubs, restaurants and shops. We’ve stayed here a few times now and are never disappointed.

We were in Canberra for an emergency family visit and needed to book a room at short notice. The booking process was easy and efficient, which was a relief during a stressful time.
One of the highlights of our stay was the hotel's pet-friendly policy. Since we didn't have time to arrange for pet minding, we greatly appreciated the hassle-free experience.
Overall, we had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to recommend the Sebel Hotel to others.

terrible stay - lobby is modern but the room was noisy where you can hear the water from the pipes running, fridge fans turning on every 15mins and other sensors/fans turning on randomly at all day / night even when you werent in the room.

We had a lovely weekend at Sebel Civic with our French bulldog.
It was great to be able to stay at a quality dog friendly motel.
Our room was very nice and comfortable with handy kitchenette.
The motel doesn’t have onsite parking - we parked at the nearby Canberra Centre shopping for $3/day on the weekend. A little inconvenient but not a big deal.

Selected this property as it was pet friendly and close to city centre. Was great room. Dog bed looked comfy and pet bowls provided. Had some dog products also in the lobby.

Overall a great stay. But the bathroom floor has a small step up above the kitchen floor. It should have a yellow strip in the doorway to indicate different floor level as this can be a bit of a trip hazard especially at night if you get up to use the toilet.
