Very convenient

We loved everything about Sanco Inn, it’s as if they have thought and provided for all their guests’ needs. You would think that with the affordability, it would just be no frills. On the contrary, it has everything plus more. It came with a coffee, pillow&toiletry bar at the lobby. There is also a common kitchen with icemaker, microwave&laundry machines. A modern secure luggage storage is also available. The room is complete with amenities and Sanco Inn will go out of their way to provide whatever guests would need. This will definitely be our hotel of choice when we go back to Kyoto and recommend this to family and friends.

No wonder this property has a great reviews. I was really satisfied with my 5-night stay here. Everything is great from customer service, location and cleanliness. Definitely I’ll come back on my next visit in Kyoto .

The room were pretty dusty especially the humidifier you can see it with bare eyes since white dust on black exterior. I kept on sneezing. The towels are pretty thin too.

The hotel staff was fantastic! The hotel room was clean and smelled fresh when we walked in. The bathroom and restroom were immaculate, just clean and welcoming. Conveniently located across the street from the Kyoto Station. We relied on the trains to get around, but it also had many walkable restaurants and a convenience store 2 mins around the way. It also had a mall 5 mins to the right. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The value for what you pay was just great. Friendly staff that made you feel at home. They have a pillow bar so you can select your level of comfort, washer/dryer on site for a reasonable price. I had a great view. This is a great place to stay, the toilet was clean, warm, and had all sorts of neat settings. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

Traffic is convenient. Bus stop is outside the hotel. Walk to Donki in 3 mins.

Excellent little hotel in a very convenient location across the street from Kyoto station. Great service. The hotel has its own onsen. I will definitely book here again.

Awesome little hotel in the most perfect location. Right across the street from Kyoto train station close to all the eating spots and walking distance, well I walked most places 1 hr walk to Kiyomizu-dera temple as taking a bus would not have been much faster. I would stay here again just for the location.

Can't beat the location to Kyoto Station and the Limo Bus Service to Kansai. Guest services and breakfast was top notch.

No space for storing and opening suitcases.

Fantastic. The hotel photo on the internet doesn’t do it service. I didn’t like the look of it but booked it as I wanted to stay an extra night in Kyoto and the hotel where I had been staying didn’t have room. So glad as the Sanyo Inn is much better and the service superior too. A lovely hotel that I shall now use again.

Highly recommended and very nearby Kyoto station.

The property has all the amenities you need. For the price it was across the street from the station. There was a charger for any device you had so no need to plug anything else. The only thing was the a/c would shut off automatically when you leave the room. I’m sure to conserve energy cost. But overall it was very cost effective over night stay. Spend the money in shopping instead.

We loved that the property, though small, was power-packed with amenities and facilities (laundry machines, onsen, self-service luggage storage, pillow and amenity bar). While the room was small, it provided everything we needed and more (hair dryer, air purifier/humidifier, bath tub). We most appreciated its location as was just across the road from Kyoto Station and the malls there.

I chose this hotel for it's proximity to Kyoto Station and price. It was a good choice.The rooms are small but comfortable and typical for this class of hotel. Staff have been helpful in keeping a jacket that I forgot for me to collect later.

Such a lovely hotel, great condition of facilities. Had to extend my stay and they didn’t have a room available and now I’m in the tower opposite I can appreciate the sanco even more!

Very convenient - right across from Kyoto Station. Front desk staff were very helpful. Room was small, yet comfortable. I especially liked the self-serve locker system for luggage.
