Very cozy property close to town within waking distance. Very clean and rooms serviced daily. Great friendly staff, enjoyed the morning breakfast each day. Enjoyed the morning chats and great service provided for breakfast by Snyder. Thoroughly enjoyed his smile and warm personality. Toni was on top of quickly responding to our needs with a/c and water heating problem experienced. Would definitely recommend and consider returning to on any future trips we take to Costa Rica if we return to Tamarindo area.

We LOVED Boho Tamarindo. First of all - it is spotlessly clean. The staff is amazing - delicious breakfasts every day and attentive and helpful staff made this an exceptional stay. It is very walkable to the beach and town of Tamarindo. There are lots of very expensive alternatives around, but Boho is an amazing deal for a wonderful place.

This was our favourite stay in our travels through Costa Rica. The entire property is gorgeous , rooms are modern and clean, comfortable bed, large shower, the pool was so nice to take a dip in, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. The staff here were very friendly as well. The location is perfect , just outside of the main area but still walking distance and only a 2 minute walk to the beach. We were also very close to playa Langosta which we rode scooters to and it only took about 5 minutes. This was the perfect end to our vacation!

Loved the property. Room was clean and property was well maintained. Pool was so refreshing in the hot heat. There are new owners. Didn’t interact much with them. Breakfast every morning was amazing Snyder was such a pleasure and cooked breakfast wonderfully. Loved the fresh fruit, coffee needs work sadly. I’m love with the Raw Organic Banana Hair conditioner my hair was so soft! More sun space would be nice around the pool. The rooms were cleaned daily and bed was made. One morning I wanted to sleep in and the cleaner was knocking on my door at 9:30am. Having a do not disturb or do not clean sign would be a great suggestion! Would I visit again. Yes it was in a great location and quiet part of town close to the beach.

It was nice that the hotel was on the edge of town providing a quiet atmosphere to sleep. Couldn’t find the hotel when we first arrived because there wasn’t hotel signage on the road. The short walk from the street up to the hotel is not paved which made it difficult to carry our luggage that has wheels. I didn’t like the walk down the main street to the hotel late at night with limited lighting. I guess it is safe but just stayed for a few nights. The hotel building is a modern design, very clean, with a total of 8 guest rooms that provides an intimate setting. The rooms were spacious, clean, with an excellent air conditioning system. The bathroom was spacious with a modern walk-in shower. All were very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made you feel welcomed.They serve a nice breakfast with a menu that is freshly prepared. You can eat breakfast on the outdoor balcony and spot monkeys playing in the trees.

This is a nice small hotel and is also an AB&B. The staff are very nice and friendly. The hotel is relatively new and the rooms are clean. Breakfast is somewhat limited but good and more than filling. It is a short walk to the beach. We had a little issue as we arrived early and the front door was locked. I tried calling but got did not get an answer. However, we knocked and a guest opened the door and showed us the bell to ring. This only took about 10 minutes so no big deal and our room was ready, which was great.

From start to finish we had an excellent stay! Toni and Snyder and the rest of the team took such good care of us. Breakfast was wonderful and the setting with sparkling pool and fresh tropical flowers was spectacular. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed including an outdoor hammock swing and beanbag chair! Boho’s location is super convenient and everything is walkable, yet it’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Thank you, Boho!

We came for a friend’s wedding, and were immediately impressed by how charming and friendly the environment was. Our greeter offered us water because it was SO hot out, and quickly got us our room key. The next morning when we gave our names, Johanna was our breakfast server as well as the person we had been messaging with to request an iron for our wedding fits. :) It’s little touches like that that I will remember about my stay. Yes, you are staying in a place that is next to the wild- there will be the occasional ant or spider. But the A/C works very well, the shower is nice, the bed is not uncomfortable. My husband enjoyed the pool. There are also a couple relaxing covered hammocks on site, a lovely rock in one at the end of the day was a bonus. It was a great home base for our adventures and was so nice to have freshly chosen fruit served in the morning. If what you need is cute, clean accommodations with a great sense of community? Boho is for you.

Boho Tamarindo was a PERFECT spot to stay in Tamarindo. It was located in an amazing spot only 2 minute walk to the beach but tucked away from the main strip so quiet. The owner Johanna was amazing at making you feel at home with fresh breakfast, activity recommendations and just super friendly! All the other guests were also lovely and we made some great travel friends. I would definitely stay at Boho if I am ever in Tamarindo again.

The hotel has a very cute look! The atmosphere is welcoming and quiet. It is in a private area that is safe and very easy to walk to the beach and the main part of town. Loved it!

Johanna, Greg and team are incredible. From the check-in onwards, everything was amazing. Rooms are spotless, pool area is beautiful and the location is perfect- close to the action but secluded enough to get downtime. Breakfasts were incredible too. Listen to the howler monkeys in the morning - magical. Thank you!

Loved staying at BoHo! The rooms were spacious and clean! Loved sitting around the pool in the morning or evening! Was small walk to everything but not stuck in the core area with all the noise. The breakfast was amazing! Jo was great to ask questions about the area! Would totally recommend!

Fantastic location! We loved staying at Boho Tamarindo. Johanna made everything so easy and was very responsive to my questions before arrival and while there. The main entrance area has all the information needed to help plan your visit. Such a lovely touch to have wall signs with all the adventure options and a fantastic map showing all of their favorite places to eat. The colors and decorations are beachy fun. It was so nice being right across from the beach and close to the main town. We felt very safe, as if we were in our own little oasis, away from the crowds and noise. Breakfast was perfect, Greg cooks something new every morning, it kept us full all day. The room was very clean and quiet, the bed very comfortable and we loved the rain shower. The property backs up to a national park and we were treated one morning to a family of howler monkeys 'talking', amazing! We cant wait to get back!

Amazing and super helpful staff, walking distance access to the beach and nice restaurants nearby. Excellent breakfast included. We definitely recommend BOHO to other guests.

My schedule at Spanish school has been a little out of sync with the breakfast timings but Johanna has always made sure I still get a great brekkie. Honestly I can’t recommend this place enough. Johanna and Greg are the perfect hosts and the place is really stylish and really comfortable.

Beautiful bed and breakfast just a five minute walk from the beach. It’s a small place with just eight rooms and that adds to the personalized attention from the hosts. We felt more like friends than hotel guests. We were in room number 1. It was large and comfortable with a king size bed, huge bathroom and walk in shower and a separate walk in closet. The style is modern and clean. The pool was an added bonus and beautifully lit up at night. We will definitely be back!
