These rooms are university dorms, I believe, but if you’re popping into Galway for a day or two during the summer, they’re comfortable and well kept. Staff are friendly and attentive. Parking may be an issue if you’re driving but there’s a free lot that’s maybe a five minute walk from the hotel you can use. You’re definitely away from the town centre, but we drove in so that’s no problem. Grab an Uber and it’ll probably be something like €10 to get you downtown, not bad at all. Overall, a pleasant stay!

The reception staff were extremely helpful and the kitchen was very clean with lots of instructions on how to use the oven etc. Thoroughly recommend it.

Property was very clean and friendly, nice and quiet. Staff was very helpful.

Room faced busy street

*****NOT a HOTEL******** Please read the listing very carefully, this is not a hotel. To be fair, it never says it is a hotel, but if you're using an app, you sort of expect a hotel. This is student housing (dorms) rented out during the non-school time. It was clean and quiet. Not very spacious. You have a private bedroom and bathroom. There are common areas you also have access to. There is no AC. Bathroom and bedroom are very, very small.It suited our needs very well, but it wasn't a hotel.

Nice to have access to the amenities: study room, pool room, laundry room, kitchen, and spar next door. Our room faced a narrow alleyway between two residential buildings and was near the main entrance to the complex. The sound of people coming back from parties at all hours of the night was amplified by the tunnel effect and we were wakened up every night of our week-long stay. Try to ask for a room outside of that area.

A great option for those who travel light. The bus to the center was reliable and inexpensive. Nice communal spaces to eat , work and relax.

Cleanliness and rooms were excellent value. The location is about a 20-25 minute walk from the city centre

The complex is awesome, very close to the city centre. Clean and tidy.

This place is not a hotel, it's some kind of student housing, in good condition but very tight rooms, no room cleaning, no restaurant and except for a convenient store on its premises, no restaurants nearby at all!

Enjoyed the stay the room and all of the place was spotless was amazed how clean well done to them for that was a problem with door lock which was fixed after but overall great place the amenities were great but suit maybe couples or groups the spar shop was handy but expensive but I would stay there again the staff were excellent and very helpful 4.5outof 5 the lock was annoying just I suppose from security point of view but overall enjoyed my stay and a bus stop literally about 50 out side entrance 404 bus which was very handy so easy to get into eyre Square will definitely consider staying again

This was a fabulous place to stay if your staying in Galway. The room snd site were super clean. The staff were very helpful. A very pleasant 25 min walk into Galway city. Overall we had a lovely weekend staying in the Westwood

There is a gym, full kitchen, dining and TV room on every floor. Plus a SPAR is onsite with hot food available all day. It is about 2km from the Spanish Arch and a taxi is 8-10E each way.
