I stayed well in a nice hotel on a nice day. The hotel is clean overall and the location is great. But on the second day I was going to have breakfast and had to come back out and I personally confirmed that it was included in the reception. However, the staff went to the reception again to check and eat. I didn't feel good and they didn't apologize. The staff's service needs to be improved. It is considered that there is no good communication between each other.

Everything was perfect. The room was big and exactly as shown on the photos, The bathroom was big enough modern and clean (I only wished the exhaust/fan would be stronger). The location is great, within the old Prague, in 10 minutes everywhere. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ac worked good (after we had it looked after). The building is very modern inside. Really perfect. Will book again.

We were satisfied with our stay, overall - particularly for the price we paid (€ 104 per night). The hotel is located on a quiet square just a few minutes from the railway station (which also has a direct bus to the airport) as well to the main attractions in the old town. The hotel can be accessed only with your room key or calling the reception on telecom (this was initially confusing as we were looking for the entrance). The hotel itself seems to be pretty new with good air conditioning and decent breakfast. The staff was polite, knowing that getting smiles in Czech Republic is a challenge everywhere. What was somewhat confusing was the hotel tax collected by the hotel although the prepaid rate was supposedly including this. And a final piece - not related to the hotel though - is that don’t go to Prague during the peak tourist season. The crowds, noice were just intolerable.

Awesome and great hotel - we got in early and the front desk representative was soooo great and got us in our room early. It meant a lot to be able to get in that early after an overnight train ride. Overall the hotel was perfect and the service was great!

We had a wonderful stay in Prague and loved our time at Hotel Essence! Room was clean, well maintained & a great size for our family. Location was wonderful! Staff were very knowledgeable of the area and proactively shared suggestions of places to go and restaurants to consider. We would definitely stay here again!

Great hotel. Located in the city center and a minor walking distance from main attractions. Nice breakfast and not expensive.

We travel frequently as a family with school age children and this was by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful and the rooms were super clean. Conveniently located near Old Town Square so it was easy to navigate around many of the historical sites. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing

The hotel itself is mostly great in regards to the condition of the property and the rooms. The staff are also great in that they are very friendly and knowledgeable. The one downside to the hotel is the immediate area surrounding it. The hotel is walking distance to the major sights, transportation, shopping and dining locations in the downtown, but the immediate area outside the hotel seems to the attract an unsavory group of people. Specifically, we observed people sitting around outside the hotel with no discernible purpose. We also saw individuals urinating in the street during daylight hours. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the hotel and felt safe inside its secured entrance but did not feel the same about the immediate area surrounding the hotel.

Clean and comfortable bedroom with a view onto the square. The tram stop is 50m from the entrance and Wenceslas Square is a 5 min walk.
