Fijn appartement op top locatie! Goed bed, leuke zit met kleine keuken, bakkerij vlakbij voor ontbijt en vanuit straat vuurwerkshow kunnen zien.

Voor de prijs had ingang appartement met een droogloopmat afgewerkt mogen worden (lag nu open met tape)

De locatie ligt perfect

Onze eerste nacht jan, begonnen ze vanaf 3.00 snachts met opruimen buiten continue piepjes van vrachtwagens die achterreden geen oog meer dicht gedaan 😩, de kamers zijn enorm gehorig je hoort iedereen vooral als je boven buren hebt elke stap dreunt en kraakt. Je krijgt 1 handdoek voor je hele verblijf dus als je 4 nachten blijft moet je handdoeken bij kopen dit geldt ook voor wc papier. Echt absurd als je weet wat voor prijs je betaald. De spiegel en badmeubel is zo klein dat je niks kan zien. Onze handgrepen van de deur hing er half en je kon eigenlijk vrij makkelijk de kamer inkomen. Het meest frustrerende was nog de service van Altido vanaf dag 1 al ongenoegen geuit en elke keer contact met een andere persoon via de mail. Ze hebben werkelijk geen enkele moeite gedaan om ons ook maar iets tegemoet te komen of te helpen. Alleen maar sorry en meer niet. Ook wil ik mijn ongenoegen uiten naar Booking.com zei zijn zo slecht bereikbaar niet via mail of chat en telefonische wordt je doorverbonden naar een betaald nummer. Ik heb 15 min aan de telefoon gehangen x0,75 per minuut en nog niemand aan de telefoon gehad wat een service van zo’n groot bedrijf en al tientallen boekingen bij ze gedaan. Eind conclusie, ik raad dit appartement zeker niet aan voor de prijs kwaliteit, alleen de locatie is goed gelegen maar genoeg mooie hotels die ook goed liggen met veel met service. Na zo’n 15 reizen per jaar te maken komt deze locatie wel in mijn top 3 slechtste locatie en service.

Excellent room, great central location with view of Edinburgh Castle. Very clean and stylish, comfortable bed. Will stay again, support staff very helpful and quick to respond.

A lot of stairs, over 70, which was fine but hard to take it slowly with luggage.

The self check in was quick and efficient.

Th lounge area could be more comfortable.

The location is incredible and you are in easy walking distance of everything.

The strong smell of fried food emanating from the pub below. The noise of the pump whenever anyone within the building tuned on a tap. The stove top kettle.

Excellent location!!! The room is clean and comfortable. The instruction to access the property is clear and reminders are given regularly.

No customer service, no flexibility on checkin checkout. Small bedroom and bathroom Customer service number doesn’t work

The location is one of the best thing about the apartment. There are several restaurants and pubs around the building (including the one right next to it - super cool!). The room that we stayed was pretty big, lots of space in the living room area. Since there is no breakfast included, it is nice to have a well equipped mini kitchen in the room. The shower was super good.

I do not recall reading that there was no lift, and that we would have to go up 5 floors by stairs. We were ok with it, but we aware that there is no way to get to any of the rooms without going up at least 2 rounds of stairs. The corridors have a weird smell, but I think it could be the carpet cleaning product. Also, we were not allowed to open any windows in our apartment, which was not nice, espeacilly during rainy summer time...

The sink is tiny and it’s impossible to wash your face. The layout of the room is weird as the bed is so close to the door. As a female travelling alone, I didn’t like how close the bed and door was so moved the bed to the furthest wall. The windows are also really hard to open. There’s no comfy lounge area either. The apartment is in between two busy restaurants so It can get noisy but as expected for city centre and I didn’t mind:)

Very uncomfortable bed, very warm despite the fact there was a desk fan to use! Lots of stairs which were fine but we didn't know this beforehand, and a very unpleasant smell in the corridor

Good location - about 15 min walk from various locations. Modern interior and it was clean. Comfortable bed.

We didn’t have hot water for 24 hours and we had to phone customer service 3 times for it to be fixed properly. The first two colleagues were not helpful however the third colleague (David) was a lot more helpful and actually phoned us back with an update after we asked him to (I didn’t receive an update what so ever from the previous two colleagues).

The location was amazing, walkable to just about everything. There are lots of restaurants and shopping just outside the door.

There is really no lighting in the unit. The bathroom was so poorly lit you couldn’t see to get ready. Even if you could see there was no outlet to plug in a hairdryer. There was no place to put your luggage. There would be plenty of room for a couple of luggage racks. Lastly it wasn’t super clean. There was a large clump of long hair on the shower floor and looked like the floors in the unit had not really been cleaned. Really such a shame because the location is so great.

The property is very well located, and has everything you need for you stay. The building is quiet and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

The rooms can get very hot, and although there is a fan provided you can’t alter the heating. we only had one issue during our stay which was very minor and didn’t ruin our stay in the slightest but the hairdryer was broken which when getting ready to go out was a little annoying.

Great position to get into old city and wandering around. The room first night wasn't clean but the staff sorted out quickly the problem and we had another room for the first night. The rest of stay was nice and confortable.

We had to turn on the heater last night but t didn't work in all rooms. I would suggest some welcome food/drink for guests who may arrive late night.

nice apartment and perfect location

heating issues- first day ice cold, 2nd and 3 rd day like a sauna. Cant set it yourself, centrally set. Staff made as feel stupid because we couldnt set it , but they also did not know how the heating worked and cant be set from inside the apartment. Electrician did not know where the boiler was. Asked for blankets on first day because the heating didnt work. Could not find any in the apartment.

the decor was lovely, it felt cosy overall clean location was brilliant for transport, bars and restaurants

the telly was in a funny position so we found we had to move the bed to be able to see and be comfy. the chairs also wasn’t to comfortable if you were staying in for the day. neither of these spoilt our stay though.

couldn't get in for nearly one hour. had to call customer services to get in the first door. key to room was not in the place we were told either, had to call customer services again to get in our room. ruined the first day there, however the room was nice luckily we stayed for a few nights so managed to enjoy ourselves the night after.

Informationen on the fact that in the booking process there was no lifts, stairs only. No other items for dishwashing other then detergent. No departure process in paperwork.

We left a sentimental item a Teddy with ashes in the bed but according to the cleaning staff I was not there. So either the bed was not changed or the bear was stolen or thrown away!
