Amber is so sweet, she made our stay so perfect!

I’m 6months pregnant and this place is just close enough to keep walking to the room from the beach to pee, eat, and grab anything left back at the room all day. It’s also far enough away so you don’t get all the noise from the boardwalk. The room was clean and cozy. The manager was attendant and friendly. The pool was clean and far enough back from everyone walking by to still be private. Walgreens is right across the street which is super convenient in case you forgot anything. Would def stay here again. All the amenities in the room worked great.

Do not stay here if you value your safety!! I could do a whole separate review on how filthy and tiny this place is but I would have overlooked all of that. At 650am on our first night an unknown man ented our "locked" room when only our 13 year old daughter was awake in the room. When confronting management about the issue that we no longer felt safe and wanted to leave and get a refund for the night we wouldn't be staying they at first promised to move us to another property only to reverse course, accused my child of lying called the police and kicked us out of the property once we started really complaining. Management claimed there was no video footage (which they deleted so they wouldn't be sued) and that something like this has never happened before (which later we found out was a lie). Once I delved deeper into other reviews in the past for this place it is clear there is a pattern with Beach Motel & Suites. I think it's pretty obvious when I found other travelers have complained about people coming in their room in the middle of the night and then management kicking them out for complaining. When customers complain about anything they kick them out early and pocket the nonrefundable cost of the rest of your trip, so it's a scam. My daughter is now traumatized and we were treated like criminals with no care about the safety concern for other guests. Do your research and find another place. Never again!!

Posted as mom-smoking property but it wasn't. Said "family friendly" but was a bit rowdy with party type environment.

If this was a cruel joke, it may of been funny.. unfortunately it wasnt. This has to of been the worst room I have ever seen. Staff was beyond friendly, probably because they're expecting shocked and pissed off people once checked in.

Parking across the street was not well marked and not knowing about that I couldn’t figure out where to park! Once checked in I wasn’t given a key to my room! (I didn’t notice because I was exhausted.) Tiny room had OVERWHELMING fake odor covering smell, I wanted to gag. I had to plug in the TV and it was VERY confusing how to start watching something! They should let guests know this! TV streaming kept pausing and there are no good streaming services like Netflix-you have to watch commercials and they repeat every time the stream is interrupted. I also had to plug in the microwave and coffee maker which wouldn’t fit in the socket so I had to move it.

Amanda was a gracious and accommodating host! She personally made sure the keys worked for our room and provided extra pillows and towels on request.

they have no ice machine!!!! when we checked in the staff was very friendly went above and beyond walked us to our room but we had no towels or soap in the room, i walked down to the office and the manger went right away to got them for us, the sponge in the kitchen looked like it was there all summer for a sunday night high cost for such a old place

Although the motel needs a little refreshment, the cleaning was well done. The smallest room was perfect for lovers. After reading the other reviews, it is true that the bathroom is small, but it is completely functional. We loved our stay. In addition, we wish to thank the owner of the place from the bottom of our heart. We are grateful for what she did for us during the stay. By our fault, we booked only 1 night instead of 2. So the day after our first night, we should have emptied our room, but we had not done it. She tried to contact us several times during the day, but without success. She stayed all day waiting for us, she had to pick up all our things in the room to free her. Finally, she took the chance to put the room not available on the booking sites thinking we would take it back. That was the case, so we managed to take back the room that evening. We thank you for being understanding for our mistake, we are once again very grateful.

Probably one of the most overpriced dumps I’ve ever stayed in. Room 12 needs to be bombed and redone. The beds feel like they were picked out of a garbage dump. They need to be burned. You lay in it and sink to the floor .Put two people in the bed and you roll together and sink. I need to see a chiropractor now. The room is very very dated . The people staying there are real sketchy. Seems like maybe they live there . Opened my door this morning to someone sitting right outside smoking weed. The pool looks nothing like the photos. This whole property needs some major help. Start by making it look presentable. The only good thing about this place was the manager (Amber) she was super sweet at check-in. Avoid this place at all costs.

The window in the kitchen wouldn’t close. Old and dirty bar stools. Mattresses old and unfit for sleeping. Bathroom so small you could not turn around in it. Could not fit in disgusting looking shower and we are not big people. No lighting outside door and up stairs, walk uneven, unsafe and we did not sleep or feel safe all night. The room cost $200. and was unfit. This was the worst place I ever stayed at!

Management was excellent! Great location and just a quick 5 minute walk to everything! Will be returning next year for sure.

We had a great stay the beach motel & suites. The hotel manager Amber went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay - and overall the staff was friendly and accommodating. The motel has a perfect location to the beach and restaurants… also good pool for the kids and easy parking on prem. We would stay again!

There were small bugs crawling on the floor and up the side of the walls, and several moths kept flying around in the room. Also the hot water was way too hot. It was scathing and that is higher than main health law allows. There was debris and dust under the beds and tables. The hotel manager was very nice and welcoming, yet the ownership group appears to be unwavering when requesting a refund or even a reduction in rate because of the condition of the room. This makes travelers like me who have both traveled and stayed in lot of hotels and who have worked in hotels and motels very upset. You cannot charge a rate without delivering an array of services that reflect that rate, including cleanliness of the room.

My husband is 5 ft 10 (170 lbs) and could not fit in the shower or use the toilet. We decided to checkout after staying one night even though we knew we would not be refunded over $250

The gal that checked us is was very welcoming and accommodating. Property grounds kind of dirty. Room was dated. Excellent location

The place itself was not the greatest. The room was SUPER tight and crammed. The box spring was off of the bed frame, we tried to fix it and seemed to make it worse. The bathroom was so small and crammed you had to use the toilet with the door open and sit sideways because the sink was sticking out too far, and let's not even get into the shower business. The property itself was a convenient walk to the pier, the manager was super nice, sadly just not a place I would stay at again.

The suite was extremely small. When you sit on the toilet your legs were under the sink. You open the door into one of the bedrooms and there was barely enough room to squeeze between the bed and the 1970’s thing that was supposed to be a desk/dresser. The room also had a very strong bleach smell that burned my eyes. The ceiling fan had a 1/2in layer of dust on it and there was still garbage from the last people who stayed. If had known any of this, I wouldn’t have spent $350!!

Was very impressed with the owner of this motel. Young and ambitious. Made our stay quite enjoyable. Will be looking to return in the future

Go elsewhere! Old dirty & unkept. Pics online is not what you get. Told our room was best one the property had…….far from that. Bed sunken in middle & creaky held up by 2x4 wood. Bathroom incredibly small have to sit sideways on the toilet or you’ll hit your head on the sink! Shower is as terrible & dingy & dirty. Kitchenette a joke! Incredibly noisy too, think it is used for long term rentals! Lady at front desk told us to call or text 24 hours a day that she lived on site however, no response when texting her late at night for the people upstairs partying, keeping us awake all night Lip service! Choose because 5 min walk to pier! Spend your money elsewhere! Beware!
