We found the lodge to be extremely clean, comfortable, and simple to check in and check out. There were ample towels, clean sheets, and plumbing and fixtures worked well. Shower was hot and powerful. Very close to the Holiday Valley resort and easy parking. We plan to book again next year.

I want to preface this review by saying that I recognize that this is a tough business, especially for a small business owner. It breaks my heart a little to write this, but the lodge needs serious work. I’ll start with the positives, which is that our room was clean enough. And there was plenty of room for the entire crew. Four beds in total, which is a hard deal to match without booking two rooms at most places. It’s also right on the edge of town, not far from Holiday Valley. The negatives are another story. First thing is that the fittings, trim, etc. are old, some of it is pretty heavily damaged. A lot of lower quality furnishings, like extremely soft mattresses and home made laminate sinks/vanity tops. The common spaces were very cluttered and the building was noisy. Hoping they can improve from our experience but I felt obligated to share.

Very basic. The shower is tiny. The picture of the room doesn’t match the room. There is no bah mat. On the positive side it was quiet and relatively inexpensive compared to other options.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Timberline Lodge in Ellicottville for our daughter's engagement!❤️ Very easy access, super clean and very close to the center of town. Thank you so much...looking forward to returning again!!!

There was no staff on the property which was unique and you had to call to get a code to get your key.

Room/site location was ideal for our visit. Room was clean, one issue with entering was that I never received an email with the room access code. Booked through Hotels.com so not sure where the ball was dropped; at least there was a phone # to call and code was provided. Temperature control of the room was non-existent. Had to have a window open (glad it was October because no screen on the window) and the fan running all night. Room temp equalized at 76/77. Found no way to turn the temp down. Room was comfy other than the temp.

Safe, clean and cozy lodge with an easy walk to all you need. Host is quick to respond to inquiries. Very happy I stayed here!

TV in room didn't work. Bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable. It was clean, but very old furnishings made it not look very clean.

Grossly overpriced for what you get. It was not very clean, the shower was terrible. But the location is excellent!

Rooms had musty, dingy smelll and had to keep the window ac running so we didn’t have to smell. The bed was OVERLY soft and sunk down where it was difficult to even get out of bed. It was average for the $$ spent and was hoping to r better.

Cute lodge, only a short walk from all the main attractions in town. Love the easy checkin with the access box. Room was super clean and just what we needed for the overnight stay, but I do wish there was a small air conditioner or at least a screen in the window so we could have left that open. I would book here again though just for the location and peacefulness. Room 203

This place is close to everything , kinda like staying at Grandma's house .

This is an OK place for one night. We heard much noice from another room from people who woke us up in the middle of the night, upon arrival. We could hear two women talking and laughing loudly. Perhaps some sound proofing would help. The shower was small and the shower head was at odd angle that was uncomfortable to shower with. We ended up purchasing toilet paper as the roll our room had was dangerously low, and there was no extra toilet paper readily available in the room. After contacting management, an extra roll was delivered to our room and placed outside the door.

Walking distance to most of the shops in Ellicottville. Quick responses to my questions. Would definitely book with them again.

Quiet location. Perfect place for a couple night stay.

We found our room very easily but there were several items that were not acceptable esp since it dealt with safety. Smoke detector not even there only wires hanging out of ceiling. It was a warm evening so we thought we'd turn air on but there wasn't one available and on a 3rd floor window no screen. We did look for the fire exit which was right outside of our room but there were several pieces of furniture blocking the doorway. The minor infractions were that the soap supplies were large community shared containers rather than individual use. Towels were clean but minimal ( I bath/1 hand towel and 1 washcloth). We never saw any office staff coming in or leaving to assist. In the am we went down to get some coffee and found the keureg had an error message on and a large pot was apparently made but empty since there was a large group using the room and not available for us.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The self check-in was super convenient and easy, the room was comfortable, and the location was perfect walking distance downtown and a short drive to Holiday Valley. Good streaming options too, and appreciated the mini fridge. Definitely not sound-proofed, but we weren't expecting that and it wasn't a big deal. We will definitely return next time we're in town!

Decent place. It served is purpose for ski weekend with friends. Simple room with bed, large comfy chair and ottoman, tv, small table and chairs. Small useful fridge. Sink is in same room as bed. Water closet for toilet and stand up shower.

We had four people that stayed for a three day ski trip. It’s our fifth straight year at the lodge. Never a bad time

We stayed a night at the casino, and then headed to Ellicottville. Friends said to. check it out. Everything was fine, people were friendly, it was a room for the night. Like an eco-room with a bathroom and sink but no kitchenette. A small fridge served its purpose. We were just looking to lay our heads for the evening. Practical. Affordable. About four-to-six other rooms in the lodge. (we were also a tad early and they last us head in and drop our stuff!) food and bars about .25-.5 away on foot. 😁
