Very good bed

location, size of room and comfortable bed

shower stream was weak, corridors of hotel were dirty

the house is beautiful and the pool as well

we had a terrible smell in the bathroom that never got fixed. the staff wasn’t helpful. Also the hotel need painting, it’s looking damaged.

renovation urgently needed📢 all conveniences in a very poor condition. furniture, bath amenities, linen was old and bad smelling, we found an old stain of blood on it… the a/c worked unstable, at 25C and higher was cold.. hot water was warm. The main - Wi-Fi worked so bad, it was full only at 1 corner of our room. slept so bad in that terrible conditions (smell from linen, not working ac, non confortable pillows).

The rooms are spacious and the staff is amazing. Starbucks on-site but doesn’t have all drink selections but I didn’t mind because they have a few of the drinks I love.

The room I got this night had an old smell to it. But that didn’t stop me from rebooking with them a few days later. Because they fixed the issue.

The staff are wonderful and they have Starbucks coffee onsite. The rooms are really spacious. The air conditioning perfect. Location is good.

TV didn’t work so they changed my room.

The facilities are old, unkempt, dirty, but they charge the same as any of the other, newer hotels. The staff is unfriendly, not very helpful (they refused to deliver anything to the room), constantly short staffed. At one point of my stay, the main water pump failed and left my room without service for a whole day. Hose keeping didn’t bother to do my room until past 6:00 pm. This was particularly annoying, because after all day working, I constantly found a dirty room and have to call and wait, when all I wanted was to fall asleep

The food wasn’t too bad. Carlos in the Cafeteria was a darling man and, as far as I was concerned , the only good bit about it.

The hotel is very run down. if you look, all the good reviews are from 2019. Most of the recent ones are bad, and with good reason. When I got there, lift didn’t work, no hot water in rooms and nobody cares. it really is an awful hotel. Pool is filthy.

The staff was amazing, very helpful and polite. We had to extend our stay two times and the front desk staff (specially Julianna) was patient and gave us the flexibility to confirm our stay extension to the last minute. The rooms are comfortable, clean and have toiletries. We had breakfast at Wyndham Merida restaurant ant it was delicious. Added bonus: there is a Starbucks inside. The hotel is a renovated old masion so it is beautiful. The location was excellent, only a few minutes from Centro Historico and Paseo Montejo. I would go back to this hotel.

1. Rooms are very small based on Mexico standard 2. very old, the towels terrible!!! Plugs only in bathroom or you have to disconnect the lamp to connect your phone

location was a few miles away from main streets. I also paid extra to get pool view through this app and when I got to the hotel they didn’t have any room available. so I spent more money for nothing. After the second day they were willing to relocate us to a new room with pool view, but it was just an inconvenience to move all our stuff so we decided to stay in the same room.
