This was truly a trip of a lifetime and staying at this Villa was the smartest I ever made. We were a group of 24; one toddler, and the rest aged 18-70. The property and villa was immaculate. We were greeted by Bianca who made sure everything was right, and served a meal, we had planned ahead, that was delicious. Food kept coming, and our quests were in awe. The dining room/living room area is in the separate one story building where you could get breakfast, coffee, and just sit and relax. The living quarters were in a 3 story beautifully decorated building. Three apartments on the top floor had fans because in August it can get quite warm, but the evenings cooled down and sleeping was pleasant. Each apartment had a pullout sofa in a separate sleeping area, and a modernly equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. There was one apartment on the bottom level that was handicapped accessible. Because we had rented the entire villa we had access to the main kitchen and the poolside grill. We had many lovely meals outside looking at the stars, or eating by the gorgeous pool! Behind the pool was a huge sunflower field. All the views were to die for! The property is out of the way and you feel very secluded, but we were able to get to Florence, Rome, and Modena in long day trips. There are many pretty little sitting areas, and although we were a large group, you could find a private retreat when the need arose. Meeting and getting to know the owner, Grace, was another treat! What a lovely lady she is and we had the pleasure of visiting the rest of the Villa facilities which were down in the main town near her home. This is where the tennis court and spa were located. We had a lovely lunch and got to know more about the family which was our favorite part of the trip. Although I do not speak Italian, Bianca worked hard with her computer to translate, and Grace was able to get me to understand most of what she was saying. They were wonderful hosts and lovely people. We had an problem with the water one day and Grace was there in a flash and everything was rectified in minutes. I don't feel the pictures on the website do the Villa justice. I was very pleased that each apartment had it's own charm and that everyone had the feeling that they were all special guests. Umbria was a magical surprise in itself. So much beauty! I will never forget out time in Umbria, or meeting Grace and Bianca. We have made new friends. Enjoy!

This property was exactly as the pictures show. We stayed for 6 days and celebrated our wedding. We were a group of 17 adults and a 6 month old baby. Bianca and Maria were there to greet us with wine, cheese and crackers and music, they were so welcoming. They set up pasta making for the first night and it was the best pasta I have ever had. They set up a visit to Citta di Castello one day and on another day we visited Renzizi factory and had dinner at their flagship restaurant. That same day we went to Donini wines which was one of our favorite places and wine in Italy. If you like wine Doninis is a must during your visit. The wedding was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined. The ceremony under a gazebo and a 5 course meal and wine served in the garden with drinks and dancing following by the pool. The same women who did our pasta making night one, also catered the dinner and they were some of our favorite people in Italy. The biggest challenge for us was the language barrier. We only speak english. Luckily someone in our group spoke a little italian. Better have the translator app out if not. Also the wifi was not working, they did try to fix it, but it was not resolved by the times we left. It is really necessary to have a car. They set up a bus and driver for the group and it work fine, but it would have been nicer to have a car. I would recommend this place to anyone for an event or just a relaxing few days.

We arrived after a beautiful drive from Florence and were very graciously greeted by our host the owner of the estate. She is a true Italian noble with great knowledge of the region. We felt like honored guests. The villa has amazing views and is private and serene set in acres of rolling landscape and sunflower fields. We could see Tuscany, and Umbria from our window. Our suites were furnished in grand traditional Italian style and was perfect for our family reunoin of 15 plus baby. The pool is large, lovely and relaxing. It was hard to tear ourselves away from the comfort to visit the nearby towns. We particularly enjoyed San Sepolcro in Tuscany for dinner. We did some cooking ourselves and also enjoyed having a chef come and cook a special farewell dinner for us which was quite a treat. We will definitely make this a family tradition to come back again and visit our new friends in Italy.
