After travelling all the way from New Zealand it was great to finally arrive in such a perfect spot. Arriving at night we didn't appreciate the great views of the sea and the mountains until the next morning. The villa is large with 4 good sized bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Very useful when 5 adults and 3 children are all trying to get ready for the beach!. Handy to have an outside shower to remove all the sand as well. The town is large enough to provide all shopping needs but small enough to get to know it well in a few days. Close to a lovely beach and to ancient sites such as Erice, Monreale, Selinunte and Segesta. Scopello and San Capo de Vito are close by if you fancy a different beach. We all had a wonderful time at Villa Noemi. The owner and family could not have been more helpful and Benedetto was happy to shoot round on his Ducati to answer any questions and fix any problems. We'd be happy to return to Villa Noemi and Castellamare del Golfo at some point in the future.

We were 6 young people, and simply adored this Villa. It’s well equipped with all necessary things, well designed, stunning views, nice and very CLEAN. Hope to return.

"House is well designed, and well equipped. The house has its own gate, is not overlooked by any other house and offers peace and privacy. The house is near away from the well stocked and friendly supermarket, and further few minutes brings you to the sandy beach. There is satellite TV with the main international news channels, . This comfortable house is a lovely place to spend a holiday. We hope to return."

"Villa Noemi is a very nice place to stay. We hired it for one week with a group of 7 adults, the villa is more than comfortable enough to accept such a group. The house is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped : the oven is a bit dated , but functions well, ther is a very complete battery of kitchen utensils – it was a pleasure to cook for 7 in the evening when coming back from our excursions. There is a super barbecue under a roof in a separate shed, so you can even cook when it rains (in Sicilia?) or , more plausible, when the sun stands high. The villa has a tremendous view over the sea and the hillside, so if the weather permits you can eat outside on the lovely terrace, from breakfast onwards. In fact the house is sometimes used by the owners as a second home. The owner and his wife are very kind and helpfull, you can reach them at any moment by mobile phone, and they come and help you out of any domestic/technical problem. The house lies 3 km uphill out of Castellammare in a very quiet neighbourhood , you can find all the foodshops you want when you drive to the village, fresh fish at the port. When staying in the villa, you need a car : we have seen no public transport up till the house. There is (shadowy) covered parking space for two cars , plus another 4 cars in the open. The house has a safety protection installation, and an electric entrance gate."
