Ellen and Rich, the caretakers, were terrific in attending to the property and to our small requests. Wonderful people! The rental is in a great location! We enjoyed our stay!

We love this place but i must say the cleaning crew was not a good fit!! We cleaned most everything when we got there. The boxspring needs to be replaced! The best part is the neighborhood and so close to the beach…..614 steps to be exact!! We will definitely return….we love it all that much!!

The condo was clean and modest. Lovely and quiet neighborhood.

Arrived a few hours prior to check-in & phoned the owner to get a key to the apartment. The owner was met with surprise and stated that our reservation had been cancelled. IT HAD NOT. We had current email correspondence with VRBO even that week... The owner then began apologizing told us that the apartment was currently occupied & we could not stay there. She hung up & within a few minutes our money was refunded. Next we called VRBO office. We were given a case number and support by a SERVICE RECOVERY TEAM. We were given a room at a hotel for the night. My husband and I were encouraged to continue to search VRBO on our own and we were told that the price difference would be compensated by the VRBO company. We were able to gain a reservation at a house in Sebastian, FL but, it was undergoing renovation and would not be available until February 8th, 2020. We stayed at an inn in Melbourne, Florida from February 2 - 10th. Yes, the planned relocation to the house in Sebastion on February 8th DID NOT happen. The house was not portrayed honestly on-line on the VRBO rental site. We decided to check the place out prior to moving there. We drove to the house on 2/6/2020. It was not up to the standards that made us feel safe. We cancelled the reservation and with our inexperience did not anticipate anything other than a full refund. Unfortunately, this did not occur. The owner called and inquired about the cancellation and stated she would be happy to show us the house and wanted to make certain we had gone to the correct address. We assured her that we had and that we did want to cancel. She refunded the security deposit but kept the remaining amount. Our daughter intervened on our behalf with NEGATIVE tweets against the VRBO owner of the house in Sebastian, FL and reluctantly she refunded a partial amount. What happened to the remaining money? Did VRBO keep this amount? We were also informed that VRBO was not going to compensate us for any additional expenses that we incurred because of the Vero Beach apartment dilemma. We feel that we should have all of our money refunded because of the extenuating circumstances that left us stranded in Vero Beach. We will tell EVERYONE that this occurred. Our advice to friends is "Don't use VRBO" The home owners, apartment owners were not held accountable for overbooking and falsely advertisement. We incurred extra expenses and didn't get a vacation rental at all. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE! EXTREMELY UNHAPPY!

Owner/Manager... Greg and Akita Sikora I was disappointed with this rental and its' owners. No one was there to receive me. Not very welcome for a place supposed to feel like home. The owner had called ask to call when I would arrive. When I did they said they could not wait for me because they were going to a Xmas party that night. I had never been to Vero Beach before and did not know where the place was. When I arrived late that evening the door was open, it was quite dark. There was nothing in the refrigerator, not even a bottle of water. The first thing one noticed was the refrigerator was very loud and it later, in fact, kept me awake. I am 67 years old and was hesitant to go out for something to eat or drink, so I went to bed. Bed was rather old, loud springs and slightly uncomfortable mattress as well. They said I was going to have the apartment that was advertised but it was not the same one. They have 5 units and may have given me one not renovated. The bedroom had no chest of drawers, as it had been shown in the ad, so I kept my things in my suitcase on the floor. On the second morning the toilet overflowed. I was forced to mop it up. I did not flush anything other than toilet paper. Not plunger available. I had to leave with one set of towels only for the two weeks that I was there. They should left more towels if does not have laundry machines on the place. Not extra sheets idem Not beach towels Very little utensils Stoven was not working properly Cable tv with very little channels available. Finally, there was a problem recovering my deposit. There were some utterly false, and insulting accusations made by the owners which came quite as a shock. I am in the process of resolving the issue. Caveat emptor. Thank you to give me the opportunity to write this review. HomeAway service usually very nice but was not being represented well on this property and with this bad hostessles owners.

The apartment was as-advertised, was clean, and it suited our short stay of one month. I liked that it felt like "Old Florida," was steps from where our car was parked, and had adequate closet space. The best part was its location--a half-block from the ocean in a charming neighborhood. There were two excellent restaurants within one block, and it was only a short ride to downtown Vero Beach. We were fortunate to have found it and recommend it highly., plus the owners were very accommodating and gracious.

This is an efficiency apartment with a full kitchen but minimal other appointments: no lamps, only overhead lights which is not conducive to reading or watching TV; a small 3-drawer dresser which was not adequate for a 1-week stay; window unit air-conditioner which was marginally effective. Excellent Xfinity wifi TV. The apartment is clean and optimally located only 1.5 blocks from the beach and easy walking distance of excellent restaurants. The owners were excellent in resolving a mistake that we made in our reservation dates. I would definitely stay here again but take my own kitchen knives and non-stick frying pan.

Clean and small, still needing a few small things, eg TP, paper towels, more utinsels, cups and side tables for LR...bed was very uncomfortabe, likely the mattress. Efficient ad clean, quiet, handy to beach. I think being newly advertised, with time, the place will have a few more household items
