House was in a great location and clean, being within walking distance of everything was great for the boys! Captain Al was a great host and available by phone for all communications.

My family and I had a great time at Captain Al's, Captains bungalow. The best part was access to the beach! My kids, parents and I could walk to many great restaurants. We were also able to cook and eat at the house. Plenty of room for three teenage girls to find their own space. Overall it was a great trip! We'll be back!

Park your car and then forget about it. We loved that we could walk everywhere. We even enjoyed a walk to the Aquarium but there isn’t a lot of shade so if you are having a really hot day maybe take caution, we walked with a nice breeze and mid 70 degree weather.

My friends and I love Captain Al’s property! This is our second year in a row staying here and it’s great! As noted if you are looking for a 5 star vacation this might not be for you, but if you and your friends are looking for a place literally steps from the beach and will get you through a trip book here!!! Captain Al is a greta host and great at communicating.

The house was in a great location just steps away from the white sand beach in Clearwater. There was a pizza place next door with very tasty food. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. We had a great time!

Great place for Birthday Weekend! It accommodated 5 adults. 2 grandkids in comfortably. Location to beach was great!

Honestly, it was great except the floor plan was insane so there was no barrier between rooms. Literally, all the rooms were connected and there was zero privacy. I just think that should be known upfront. I probably would not have minded if I had known upfront but we had a baby so everytime the baby napped everyone had to be absolutely quite. There was no room that we could isolate the baby in. I would have chosen a different condo if I had known. And the pictures of the place were from a different rental. Really frustrating. There would be nothing wrong with the rental if everything had been known upfront. It felt misleading

We spent most of February in this cute beach house and really enjoyed our stay. While there aren't a lot of fancy frills to the house, the kitchen was great, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed. The internet was fast enough to support two kids in online school and two adults working remotely. Captain Al was great and fixed any issues we had right away! We hope to be back!

If you go in expecting and old cottage you will be ok nothing fancy house needs some work, the water pressure was horrible and the house is hard to cool with no central AC but location was awesome.

This cottage is full of character and the location is terrific- just steps to the beach. Captain Al is so nice and responsive- easy to access. The kitchen has updated appliances - and overall this is a great place for a low maintenance beach place with room for six. The pizza place across the street was really great so make sure to try that as well. Thanks Captain!

Great location - able to walk everywhere fun. It is on the corner of a busy street, so there is road noise. Also there is a night club across the street that got noisy at times.
If you like historical homes, this is for you! I enjoyed trying to determine the original house as built in the 1920s vs. s as it stands today. The layout is cozy, having to pass through bedrooms to get out the back door. The ceilings are low. None this was a problem though.
My only complaint were the floors that were sticky and turned the bottoms of our feet black. Also something in the front room smells of urine. Those are easy to fix.
