We had a great time. House was clean, spacious, well-stocked, the location was great. Great place to stay for our family spring break trip. Would definitely stay here again!

This property is spacious, clean, newer and right across from the beach. We loved the yoga playroom and short walk to Burt’s Market. We visit Folly often, and this was one of the best stays we’ve had!

Great location for a large extended family visiting Charleston for a wedding. We had an amazing week staying at the penthouse and would definitely recommend it for large families/groups heading to Folly Beach

Hi! Our stay was good but there are some items that could be update. The area rug in the main living room is all rolled and could be a big tripping hazard. The box outlets in the kitchen and bathroom off the kitchen are coming out of the wall when you unplug a item. The out door cushions are very dirty and stained. We felt the unit was cleaned. It was myself and 5 other ladies that stay in the unit. The location is wonderful.

The Penthouse was perfect for our large group celebrating a bachelorette. The location is incredible—steps to the beach, Bert’s market (open 24/7!), and has incredible views of the beach. The Penthouse was large, clean & spacious. We did have an issue with no AC, but the company was communicative and responsive. They were able to send someone to fix it after night 2 of our stay and we were issued a credit back due to the delay. We had the best time and really enjoyed the porch & beautiful views. Absolutely would recommend to stay here :)

The Penthouse was the perfect place to stay for a family birthday celebration/vacation!

Imagine swinging on the front porch enjoying time with family and seeing the beach within walking distance. This house has everything including chairs for the beach. Fast Wi-Fi. Comfortable beds. Much more room than we anticipated. We had two babies under two and adult kids with us. There was something for everyone and everything (shops, restaurants, grocery store, beach) was within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The penthouse condo was the perfect spot for a large party. I had my sisters bachelorette party and we had a fantastic time. Right across from the beach access and next door to a 24/7 market and liquor store served all of our needs! Food, bars and beach shops were so convenient to walk to. I would highly recommend this spot for large groups and families.

Perfect for a girls trip! Right on the beach (literally seconds from the sand) and in the heart of folly. We ubered into Charleston a couple times for brunch, exploring, and to go out and it worked perfectly. There’s lots of space in the living room to hangout with comfy chairs and couches, and a big dining table. The beds are big enough to share and SO much space in the rooms (including closet spaces). The porch is the best feature - watching the sunrise every morning was perfect - plus there’s room for the entire group on the porch swings/chairs/etc! Def recommend.

The penthouse was just as pictured and it an great location across the street from the beach and walkable to all shops and restaurants. My only 2 complainant’s would be the lack of bathroom upstairs and we did not realize the two bedroom doors upstairs were glass. Otherwise place was great!

This property was the perfect location to the beach and to the main part of town. Beautiful views!

Perfect spot for a group of friends or family. Right across the street from beach access and walking distance to lots of great food options. Bert’s market is a block over and is open 24 hours with everything you could want/need, including free coffee! We had crappy weather but this space allowed us to kick back and have a great time in doors. Only suggestion would be a rug at the front door inside the house to limit tracking in dirt/sand. The owners left us a bottle of wine and some cookies which was a nice touch. We will be back!

We all enjoyed our stay here - the location is perfect to everything we needed and wanted to do. DT Charleston was just a short drive into town for all the shopping we wanted to do. We will definitely be back!

Great location - chill, laid back beach town (at least in Oct). The property was perfect for our family of 7 to celebrate our dad's 70th. The view of the beach from the porch was amazing. Quirky and friendly 24-hr market nearby with nearly everything you could think of. Roughly 25 min drive to Charleston. Everyone kept commenting on the perfect location. Timely and informative communications from the host. We look forward to returning to Folly Beach in the future.

We had a great stay in Folly at this property. Can't beat the location in Folly. Was a great size for a large group. We would definitely return.

Good location. Restaurants and grocery store are walking distance. Inside was clean and had all the basic necessities. Had a delightful stay. Visited last week of August 2022.

The penthouse is a beautiful and spacious beach house. Perfect location and great for our family trip.

We had a wonderful time at The Penthouse! The porch swing is amazing, along with the rest of the seating up there, and view is the added bonus! Inside the home you will find very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. The king bed on the left side of the house is sooooo comfortable. The beach is just across the street so we came and went throughout the day and we were even able to watch our teenagers boogie board from the deck. Bert’s Market is fabulous, they have everything you would need and they never close! We also enjoyed many bars and restaurants, all within walking distance. The house is in the perfect location, in fact we never moved the cars after our arrival. We did rent golf carts one day and went to both ends of the island, I highly recommend! Thanks again Steven and Sarah for opening your beautiful home to us! We made wonderful memories there!!

This property was in an excellent location, walkable to everything we needed (food, market, beach) and had an a great hangout porch -- felt super open and welcoming for a fun weekend. It made the trip super relaxing and the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms allowed personal space. It was very clean and generally stocked with the kitchen necessities. A few things (especially in relation to price) in particular fell short that are worth noting. 1. There was a huge privacy issue in the bedrooms in relation to the external visibility. Having light blocking curtains and strong curtain rods on all windows would solve that quickly (we tried to find black trash bags to tape up but none available at market) -- For example the room that faced the 24hr market had sheer curtains (rods loose), and no visual or light privacy -- other balconies were looking directly into the room. On the loft rooms, the doors are clear glass, so just something to note (not necessarily bad, but not private). 2. The patio had aggregate flooring which was very uncomfortable to walk on without shoes. I'm sure it's functional in some way, but would totally avoid the issue with Trex boards. 3. Temperature in some rooms was more than 5 degrees hotter than rest of place. Truly believe the curtain could be a big help with sun in those rooms all day 4.. Not as critical, but part of the upkeep- several things were broken or not there (sound makers, barstool chairs - wobbly, hook on back of bathroom door) Thank you for sharing your property with us! It was a clean and excellent location for us to get some true relaxation and exploring time in!!

This house was absolutely perfect for my friends and I for a long weekend! It was spacious and clean and located in the most perfect location-close to groceries, next to the beach, and just close enough for restaurants and bars so we didn’t feel like we were in a noisy/busy area-2 blocks away instead! It was so fun and beautiful and I would definitely go back with another group!! The coffee pot was cracked and literally within the hour they brought a new one to replace it!

Had a few issues initially with cleanliness of freezer. Wish u had an ice maker. Porch view as is rest of beach view exquisite. Only issue was gravel porch. Tough on tender feet both old and young!! Consider a n outdoor carpet runner. Was great weekend holiday celebration and birthday party. My wife’s mother and grandparents came here for years so made our visit special. Thanks for having us!!😎

This rental was in a great location and was across the street from the beach. We didn’t have to use our car at all due to restaurants and the grocery store being so close to the property. Rooms were really nice and clean with a lot of room for our family. We will definitely stay at this property again, when we decide to come back. Highly recommend to anyone staying in Folly beach.

Three generations (10 in all) comfortably fit into the unit. Comfortable and spacious accommodations. Great access to beach and Bert's grocery, the quintessential FB store. Pleasant surprise: a generous array of spices. Improvement opportunity: replace the electric grill with something that can actually grill a steak. Other than that, certainly would recommend this and would come back the nest time we plan of FB
