We enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice. If you don't mind stairs this house was perfect. It was close to all attractions.

The house had everything we needed. The girls loved running in the yard!! The location is convenient and the neighborhood was quiet.

Stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the location. The home was clean and comfortable for our group of four. The fenced backyard and covered deck with grill were appreciated.

The house was exactly as portrayed in the VRBO posting. Everything was clean and looked very nice when we arrived. we were there for a memorial service, so we had lots of family staying at the house. We also had a small get-together for more family one evening. The house was close to our RC family member's home and to the church where the service was conducted, so the location was great for us and very safe. Whenever we needed to communicate with Caitlin, her response was very quick. We had a small issue with water pressure, and there was a leak in the basement that we reported to Caitlin, but nothing that hurt our visit. We would recommend this house to anyone.

We loved staying here. Super cute and very clean. We hope to go back when we can stay a bit longer. Amenities very nice too. Highly recommend.

Retro 50’s theme decor. The home was cute, cozy and comfortable. There is a great outdoor area with a grill. We used this as our base of operations to do sightseeing in all the surrounding parks. It is conveniently located and in a quiet residential neighborhood. Basically all the major things were provided. Some minor amenities were lacking such as facial tissue, extra toilet paper, trash bags and dish soap. The bedrooms could use some luggage racks as there are only closets to put clothes. Also the yard could use a little love since some of the weeds were the size of small trees. All in all we loved staying there and would return if ever back in the area. Great idea for decorating! Kudos to the owner.

Was super clean and nice. There however weren’t any trash bags or paper towels. But that was minor just went to store.

We had a lovely trip to Rapid City and enjoyed staying here very much. The cleanest and nicest home rental we’ve ever stayed in! Lovely comfy furniture, high end appliances and everything has a charming mid century retro theme. The guest binder said that the home was originally owned in the 1950s by one of Rapid City’s master tile workers and the home is full of gorgeous original tile features. Good Wi-Fi, plenty of towels, good floor plan. There are white shag carpets in the upstairs and hard floors throughout. We used the broom throughout our stay to keep things clean. Beds very comfortable. We stayed with two of my in-laws and their spouses and one of their teen sons. The only issue we had was accessing the house. The key code didn’t work on the front door but it worked on the garage and there was a physical key too. Later the garage code unit stopped working so we had to juggle the one physical key between three couples which was tricky. This was a minor issue, overall this was a lovely charming house and great location! We very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you for having us!

Arrived, didn’t receive the needed communication to enter property—quickly resolved by Vrbo personnel. Family emergency kept her from communicating. I’d suggest she has a local backup. Main bathroom had no shower curtain — we had to go purchase a new one . Also, needs to have small end table/ night stand on each side of bed. A few enhancements would make this a great place to stay. Centrally located for excursions through out the area. A bit difficult to get to the location.

This cozy and warm home worked great for our family! It's '50's vibe suited us all! Great location for exploring all of the sites South Dakota has to offer and we had a bonus with Sturgis Motorcycle Rally beginning while we were visiting. Caitlin was great and answered all of my questions promptly! We'd go back and would recommend it to our friends!

Could of used some more toilet paper and hand soap. We were four adults and 1 child. Also, a few of the doors wouldn’t shut/latch properly, especially the bathroom door on the main level. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay; the “retro” look was very fun. It was a good middle point for all of our activities.

The house was great and we had a great time in Rapid City SD..

We enjoyed our stay in this vintage home. It was a good central location for our adventures to the Black Hills, The Badlands, and Mount Rushmore! It had comfortable beds and a garage that fit our Suburban. Couches were good and the basement sofa and game table were great. There was some noise from cars passing and noise and light(in one room) from traffic at night but nothing too bad. We all still slept well after hanging something over that one window. All in a great stay at a nice older home!

Nice house, comfy beds, close to attractions!

My family of 4 had an excellent stay at this gorgeous, well located VRBO. I found a great running trail close to the house thanks to Caitlin. Caitlin was also extremely responsive to a need we had while in town. I would highly recommend this property which is also situated close to all the sites you'll want to see, downtown Rapid City and grocery stores / conveniences. We would stay here again should we ever venture to this wonderful state!

Very clean and comfortable three bedroom home. House served great as a place to return to each night after our adventures. Kitchen and eating area pretty small so I wouldn't recommend planning to cook much. Basement is great for playing games but does feel a little cave like. Stairs to get down there were a little too steep for my mother in her 70's. Bedrooms all a good size and very comfortable. Owner very responsive and super helpful!

Positives: good location, quick drive to downtown, garage parking, well-furnished and equipped, comfortable beds Negatives: leaky water fixture in bathroom and kitchen, upstairs shower did not work (owner acknowledged it was broken), basement shower temperature control valve did not work (owner called it "temperamental", said we should be able to figure it out and was adamant that it wasn't an issue.) Review: While we would stay at this house again based on the positives, the negatives of working with the owner outweigh the positives. We asked for a partial refund based on the issues with the showers (we were left using the bathtub upstairs or taking an overly hot or cold shower downstairs) and were told by the owner that she would not be blackmailed into a refund based on our "plumbing allegations". As business owners ourselves, we were unimpressed with the lack of professionalism from this owner.

We highly recommend this VRBO! There were all amenities necessary including laundry. Comfortable beds, & stocked kitchen. Clean, neat & homey. We loved the covered patio complete with gas grill!
