The house was spacious and worked but there were several things that needed repair or updating.

Our family enjoyed this spacious home with it’s many amenities and so close to the beach and restaurants in Carlsbad! There was 10 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out with many places to relax. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends!❤️

This property definitely didn’t disappoint!! It was everything and more. Absolutely gorgeous views! The open floor plan was perfect for hosting our family for our sons wedding. The location was close to a grocery store, beach, restaurants, and more. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Airy, roomy, light spacious home with patios, pool and outdoor living spaces.

We had all our kids and grandkids with us here for a week and this house was perfect for our needs. Set off the road, quiet, and private. The large, beautiful kitchen was well equipped and enabled us to cook great meals for everyone. The living space is huge and the window panels open on either end to expand the space and let in the cool breeze. Bedrooms were large, nicely decorated, and comfortable. Big front yard for playing ball with the kids. The pool is a good size and clean, though it does need painting and a refresh. The hot tub was popular with our crew and was clean and working perfectly. The firepit was a gathering place on cooler evening. There were puzzles and games for the evening. TVs everywhere that we did not use. A five minute drive to the beach, ten minutes to Legoland. We had a water leak under the fridge and local management responded immediately and was vert professional. The house would benefit from having instructions for the confusing Viking dishwasher, suggestions for local dining, and improved landscaping in the backyard. We all agreed, though, that we’d be happy to stay here again.

Perfect location with nearby Starbucks, grocers, restaurants and most importantly the ocean. Extremely clean, ample bedding and towels. Definitely a rental property that has never been lived. It is missing things that a homeowner would have realized. Full length mirror, functional pots/pans, coffee/tea, laundry room sink, and door mats would go a very long way. Not enough hand soap or toilet paper. Toilet paper was enough for 3 days of our 14 day trip. Newly renovated and feels like a home goods store combined with Viking appliances. Dishwasher, washing machine and dryer awesome. Bedrooms are well sized but the bathroom to bedroom ratio tough & one bathroom acting as a mudroom sink/sand area. Entry from the pool goes into the washing dryer area and there is no sink there so the bathroom sink becomes the laundry room sink and drained terribly. Drainage issues existed in all the bathrooms. The pool and hot tub left a ton to be desired! The pool and hot tub were not very clean and although Vacasa responded immediately and sent a pool guy there was no impact from those services. The pool area is outdated with a lot of dirt and un-manicured lawn which causes constant dirt and sand in/near the pool. The hot tub was filthy with murky water and unpleasant. The backyard needs attention which would allow for the pool to be less dirty. Perfect inside, outside needs love, great location and very responsive rental company.

Wonderful! Only disappointment was the kitchen was not well stocked with basics. Foil, ziplocs, extra paper towels etc., otherwise it was a wonderful stay for our family!!

Great house for families and location!

Great property with plenty of space for 4 adults and 6 kids of multiple ages. Close to lots of activities

We had a great time in this “party house” with beautiful views and huge great room. It was chilly but my kids still enjoyed the pool and hot tub. We had a nice night cuddling by the outdoor fireplace. Some suggestions for improvement: more paper towels (1 roll for 8 people for 4 days is not enough), napkins, a drying rack, and better quality toilet paper! This is a high end house with high end appliances and fixtures that deserves the best for guests.

This is a lovely house with great spaces for entertaining. However, the fine print in the documents received after renting the house would indicate that the total occupancy is limited to 11 - the number that can be accomodated in bed. This puts a real damper on using the house to receive other friends and family who are also in the area. The dip at the junction of the driveway causes cars with a hitch to scrape on entry and exit. The parking area would benefit from paving over an area of dirt above the walkway to minimize tire damage to that area. The living room fireplace needs to be repaired for proper use. There was a leak at the beginning of the gas pipe so that the flame did not propagate along the length of the perforated pipe.

Our family of 5 stayed at the property and it was exactly as advertised! Open concept w/ plenty of room to play games and entertain, which was helpful as it rained most of our trip. Very well stocked. Views are better than pictured and close to any needs. Would recommend to others.

The home was beautiful. High end appliances were amazing! The location was perfect & our group really enjoyed it. The management company was top notch & very responsive to our questions & needs. We did make a few suggestions for improvements of amenities but that didn’t damper our stay. We would return to this property & recommend to others who are staying in the Carlsbad area.

4.5 stars. We loved how roomy and spacious this home was! Having 2 living areas plus a huge kitchen and dining area altogether was perfect for our family of 5 adults and 2 small children. We enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit area, and the location very much. There are several comfortable outdoor spaces. It took a little time to figure out some things like the electric blinds, speaker systems, garbage disposal and dishwasher. Luckily my husband is handy so it wasn't a huge problem, but instructions would have saved us some time and probably would be very helpful for most people. The heater in the house worked really well, as did the coffee maker and the washer/dryer. There were some basic cleaning supplies like dish soap, trash bags and paper towels (as well as hand soap, tiny size shampoo, and some laundry soap pods), but I ended up buying some spray cleaning since there are a lot of surfaces to wipe down. Also realized there were no coffee filters, so had to pick some up (and we left the rest of the package there!).

The house is gorgeous and in a wonderful location. Rooms are spacious and beds were clean. The bathtub is too steep and not easy to get out of because of the shape. Definitely need to put a bar to hold onto. The pool was not taken care of and was unusable. When we contacted Vacasa, they said it was due to the rain but the pool looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while which is disappointing because we booked this property because we wanted to use the pool. Kitchen was very well stocked and even had an extra fridge for drinks. Overall loved the house just really disappointed we didn’t get to use the pool at all.

The house was perfect for our large family. The toddlers had fun with all the open space. The kitchen is amazing!! The large dining table was a great fit for everyone. Extra tables for puzzles, gingerbread houses and game nights. The polar plunge into the pool was fun!! And lounging in the hot tub was really enjoyed!! We put up a Christmas tree, did some decorating, baked cookies. The home was festive and fun for the holidays.

The house itself was nice. The reason I gave it 3 stars and not 5, was because the pool was ice cold and the hot tub didn’t get very hot. Also there were a lot of bugs/spiders on the ceilings and ants in the master bedroom and some insects in another room. It would have been worth the price if the pool and hot tub were useable. So that was disheartening that my kids couldn’t use the pool and hot tub. But we loved the openness of the main floor and the layout of the house. Very comfortable for our group of 10. The kitchen is amazing and we enjoyed the big table for playing cards. We also loved the two sliding glass doors that open to the outside giving it an indoor/outdoor living space feeling. Again the house itself was great!! Minus the insects.

The home was absolutely gorgeous, spacious and well maintained. The supplies were generously stocked for our weekend getaway with family. Cleanliness and housekeeping did a phenomenal job. Kalani the local manager was extremely responsive and even came by personally to install lighting around the pool/hot tub for safety. We can't wait to come back soon!!

This home was beautiful and they thought of everything. Very well equipped, large, open kitchen. Beds were all super comfortable. Plenty of space to hang out. Views were amazing with large sliding glass doors in the front and back of the house. Pool was very good size. Beach chairs and umbrella available. Large washer and dryer. Would stay again in a heart beat.
