Clean, friendly staff including the kitchen staff!
The beds were not firm at all, more like a sponge! Struggled to sleep on the mattress! Also, I wasn’t aware I had to inform reception staff on arrival regarding dietary requirements for breakfast. It was a shame but they accommodated by throwing in a hash brown ha!

Lage und Mitarbeiterfreundlichkeit sind hervorragend.
Das Bett war extrem weich und vor allen Dingen nicht seitenstabil. Ein Wasserbett wäre immerhin ein Feature gewesen. Lüften ist im Prinzip nur möglich, wenn man einen stabilen Gegenstand hat, den man unterstellen kann (vertikale Schiebefenster). Sollte aber nicht zu hoch sein, weil außen auf dem Fenstersims die Möven lauern. Also ist es de-facto im Sommer zu warm und stickig im Zimmer.

spot on location for the town and tram or steps to beach area in minutes away. The room was spotless, bright and modern, bed was very comfy. tea and coffee facilities' in room. Nice soft white towels and toiletries. maybe if picky a shelf in shower would be helpful. the lady who gave the parking permit and the young man who checked us in were very professional and friendly. Breakfast was hot and freshly cooked, maybe a little basic and cheaper end products, but a great start to the morning. The price of the whole B&B stay was defiantly value for money The Dickens is top class and i will recommend staying here and hope to come back very soon . well done
not much to dislike really, the floors were a bit odd and squeaky and up and down in the room. The breaky could be improved but then the price goes up and the offering is still decent so lets say I LIKED IT ALL

The bar and location was very good and met expectations the room was small but clean
When we first arrived we saw a young man he was very pleasant and helpful sorted out our parking vouchers and answered our questions. The room was small but clean but a huge dressing table was not required in that room, although it was recently refurbished there was no attention to detail the shower was set to high a to tight to adjust the wallpaper was lifting off the wall in place's the blind on window was letting in the light and draft. The breakfast was plentiful but poorly cooked and poor quality. The bar staff hardly cracked a smile when serving you and the glasses where far to small to take a spirit and mixer.

Everything! Location was great, immaculately clean and the bed was super comfy. We would 100% return and recommend to friends and family.

The twin room accessed by a lift was very clean with good quality, decent sized towels. Breakfast in the restaurant was excellent. Plenty of well cooked food served by pleasant staff. All very good value for money. The evening live music in the bar below was an added bonus!
Difficulty getting hot water in the shower on 2nd morning.
Parking was also difficult because the pay and display car park was extremely busy, there were no spaces and parking in the multi storey opposite is quite expensive.

When booking looked for parking but was not told we had to pay extra to park over the road

the breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly.
It was comfortable, close to the beach and great view for the value we spent.
The only thing that I hoped to be better was we had to wait one hour in the bar till 3:00 after a long journey by the bus. I only hoped they would offer us the room like half an hour sooner.

Parking was a bit random. However, got a parking voucher from the hotel and managed to find a space about 200m away.

Great location close to the shops, restaurants and a short distance from the beach and harbour.
The rooms are above a sports type bar with TV monitors on the individuals tables and a large screen next to a small stage area.
A great mixed choice of music playing for the clientele mainly from the soul era up to present day, with many of the customers aged around the 30s and upwards. A nice atmosphere.
Comfy bed, ok room, good breakfast.
I was advised of a Turkish/Greek restaurant just around the corner which served excellent food, especially the steaks. Would definitely go there again.A
