I'm sorry, the staff were lovely and the surroundings were ok, but my stay in the family container cabin rooms were terrible. Oh but location was good - one hour away from Phu Tap Burk, half hour from windmill farm and more.

The cleanliness of the place was terrible. Insects, dust, smudges on door frames, leftover toilet rolls which have water splashed on it before (toilet roll was hard) and the worst - toilets were a nightmare - water not cold enough, grimy floor and wall and a bad smell. Even though Khao Kho can dip to 11 degrees at night, there was no heater too! There's only an air conditioner with no heating option! Oh yes, rock hard beds.

Staff were very friendly and helpful - for example recommending nearby restaurants for evening meal. Breakfast was good; normally a buffet but when we were the only guests the resort for a couple of days it was served on our room terrace, which was a nice touch. Very peaceful in general, with good views of the mountains to the north. Plenty of parking space, though some of the covered spaces were taken by those working on new properties under construction.

The price was on the high side at 3,500THB per night for room and breakfast - I have stayed in other similar standard quality accommodation recently in areas such as Hua Hin which were less than 2,000THB per night. Interestingly, I see that there are offers for the same property advertised later this month at 2,500THB per night. It may be that the whole Khao Kho area is hoping to recoup lost revenues as prices did seem high in a number of properties viewed, but given the light footfall it might have been reasonable to see some offers to attract tourists to return quickly.

Very good location with a un blocked view of mountain range. The location is very near to shops, restaurants, ATMs and gas stations which is a very good advantage. All major attractions are located near to the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean with facilities such as barbecue. Walking places, clean bed and towels. Basic things like kettle and coffee are available. Breakfast is basic but good. It should not be an issue considering the price value and location. The staff are courteous and very happy to interact and help. Good place for car parking available.

Availability of maps and details of good restaurants would be very helpful for visitors.
