it was quiet and secure and the staff are really accommodating. They are great at responding to questions and requests.
The beach is at the end of the road (1 min) but you can’t swim there as you need to walk 25min to where the bars and restaurants are located. This beach has a really strong current so if you’re a super strong swimmer you will be fine or just stay in the shallows. Also just to note having a car would have been great for visiting other areas but this was our choice not to have one.

The place was super clean and organized. The pool area had a well put together lounge area, comfortable bed and pillows,nice bathroom, kitchen had refrigerator,stove,microwave, and all the kitchenware.
That I couldn't stay longer.

I strongly considered changing my flights.
I was staying alone and of course had a few apprehensions arriving. The host was clear, friendly and present in his communication and I felt comforted by that… but even more so when I arrived.
It was truly the perfect place. I tend to veer away from “touristy” zones and this was so quiet, adorable, peaceful and in just the right place. When there - there was not a moment I questioned my safety. Even in Isabela at large.
The place was perfect. Highly recommend.
There are very few things I could think of to improve. If anything - and this is just being picky… a larger beach towel. But it was so kind to provide one in the first place.
Also, don’t worry! There IS hot water, it’s just opposite of what it says on the faucet. :)

the apartment was clean and well kept, the layout was nice and secure.

Good location relatively easy to find check in and out was easy. Property and room are very well maintained.
non smoking was listed on booking site BUT it was not disclosed that the entire property was smoke free and our room was on the 2nd floor so having to go out to the parking lot to smoke was a little inconvenient. We know this is beyond their control but if you are sensitive to smell there was a horrible animal smell like wet dog and animal urine every time you left your room outside. And also there not much you can do about your neighbors but the view from our balcony was beautiful as long as you looked forward and not to your right they could maybe put privacy screen or something?

I highly recommend Palmeras Del Mar to all my friends and families who would like to travel to Isabela. This place is amazing, very clean, close to everything, and the host/ owner (Julio) is very helpful and accommodating. We would love to stay at this place again when we go back next year. You should see for yourself and request for room #5 for access to the rooftop.

Nicely done. Clean. Very nice beach access. Location was perfect for us. Julio was a great property manager. So friendly. You can tell that he wants to make sure that you truly enjoy your stay.

This location is ideal. There is a beach right down the block, and a quick drive to an area full of restaurants and people. The road is quiet weekdays, and there didn't seem to be anyone else in the building. Bed is decently comfortable, and cooling in the bedroom was a nice bonus at night.
The unit is very basic with what is has, one towel each, no hand towels or wash cloths. The kitchen is also very basic with what is provided. The pool is cold, too cold for us to use. There was a smoke detector going off in one of the units we could hear from time to time (potentially not in the control of the owner).

Wow, have to say this place is simply beautiful! The owner Julio very attentive, great service! The location is just perfect, close to the beach and restaurants! Highly recommended.
I wish we could pay using our credit card instead of venmo or cash app. Paying with credit cards through a website is more safe. Thankfully Julio was in communication with me and made me feel safe.

We loved everything about the property! Don Julio, property owner, went out his way to make sure that we his guest, had a very pleasant stay. We give this property a Five star rating. Way off the charts!!! The staff is very pleasant. The pool is immaculate and the rooms are very spacious and clean. The hotel is a close proximity to the airport and great restaurants. Don Julio recommended the restaurant, Sonidos Del Mar, a great restaurant, delicious food, beautiful location down the road on the beach with affordable prices. Don Julio will treat you like family. Thanks Don Julio!!!
