The hotel is updated, and the rooms are clean. They offer an amazing breakfast and a free cocktail from the bar. Close to shopping and restaurants. Also, right off I-5. so, no driving around downtown looking for a place to park. Safe for your car as it is completely surrounded by a fence.

I've been staying at this hotel for years when in PDX on business. It is hands down the best kept secret when staying on the island. A true diamond in the rough. And the price can't be beat.

The neighbors kept us up all night both nights. We complained three times. Security came and told them to be quiet but they did not. I feel our room should have been discounted at the least.

Check in was quick and everyone was so friendly. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfortable.

Everything went above our expectations. The staff were super friendly, the hotel is very welcoming of dogs and they even surprised us with a bottle of wine for our anniversary! The added security of gated parking was a big plus too. Will definitely be staying there whenever we visit Portland again!

Some of the bistro staff seemed a little impatient and sharp at the end of the breakfast service. It was unfortunate for an otherwise lovely stay.

It was a perfect location and we loved the complimentary breakfast with omelets, over easy or however you like your eggs and all the extras.
We also liked the indoor pool and didn't use the fitness center.
Super impressed.
If I am ever looking to stay in this location again I will definitely stay here!

I was very impressed with the beautiful renovation in the Jantzen Beach theme. Nice art from magazines. The colors are a calm cool feel. The lobby looks beautiful and the open dining room is lovely. I was also happy to see the manager walk to the dining room and have a friendly chat to let him know how nice it looks.

Reception clerk didn’t give us good entrance information or tell us elevator on our side of hotel wasn’t working. We had to walk 1/4 mile to get to our room from our car with all suit cases.

Very quiet and comfortable. Staff was all friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood is improving and with the gated parking felt safer than many other areas in the city. We will definitely stay again

We checked in late at night and your rep at the front desk, Grant, was exceptional. Friendly greeting and seamless check in. We were on our way in mere minutes. Provided us with all information and items we needed for breakfast in the morning. Room was very clean and bigger than we expected.
Breakfast was plentiful.
The gated parking was a nice surprise as we didn’t want to unload big heavy suitcases from our car.

I was so impressed by this hotel! Our room was great, the bed was comfy, there was lots of space including a couch and the decor was modern and cute. They offer guests a complimentary drink, free soup and breadsticks and free breakfast, and the food was really good! I definitely plan on coming back!

Rooms were comfortable, firm mattress with doors the separate sitting area. Lots of hot water.
Breakfast was good with create your own omelette but after a couple of days we were tired of it.
Staff friendly but read what they give you, we were charged for the free drink we’re supposed to receive at the nightly get together.
Overall a good stay.

Amazing hotel!! After having a difficult time with our airbnb and feeling unsafe we turned to this hotel which was the best idea!! Parking is closed and secluded and it’s only a 7 minute drive to
Vancouver Washington. I definitely recommend!

The front desk night staff, Grand, was incredibly friendly. He deserves a big raise or bonus for his top-notch hospitality and kindness. He made our entire 2-day stay perfect, and we’ll definitely come back to this well-managed hotel. Truly the best of the best!

Staff were nice. Pool needs a deep clean. Room had hair in the bathroom and on the bed upon check in. Breakfast was good. Cool drink tickets provided for the bar upon check in. Overall the hotel was clean. Decent reasonably priced place to stay.

Best hotel in Janzen Beach.

No one greater us, we waited over 20 minutes for someone to even come out to check us in. They charged us more after we checked in. The hotel always smelled bad or like kitty litter. The security guard followed us around and took pictures of us. Made us feel uncomfortable. They barely had anything for the breakfast that was provided.
