Brilliant location and service

Great rooms but could use air conditioning for the summer and then also the bathroom plexiglass could be improved. The water gets all over the floor regardless of you move the plexiglass.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable.would highly recommend.

We stay at the Queens Hotel on a regular basis for short term breaks and it never stops giving, the staff are very attentive and professional and always go the extra mile to ensure our comfort and make sure our stay is enjoyable.

We couldn’t fault the hotel in any way. The service was good, the room and facilities were lovely and clean. The food was well presented and and of an appropriate temperature. The view from the room was magnificent.

Nice hotel

Was v disappointed as we got little sleep. The room was v hot even with fan on and window opened. The pillow were v hard and next door there was a party going on at 2.30 in morning.so it wasn't v relaxed at all. We were really looking forward to a night away but left feeling disappointed Beautiful hotel and staff v nice

Really lovely hotel we enjoyed our stay

Upon arrival, greeted by the receptionist and she was very welcoming and friendly. Explained what we needed to know. The route to the room is a little unclear but we made our way at the end. Room was clean and nice, can do with extra set of toiletries because there were only 1 set for 2 ppl. We had the sea view room which was very nice. We can hear some music closer to midnight so not sure that was from the hotel or elsewhere. Overall it was a nice stay.

Good hotel

We stayed one night at the beautiful little hotel. Our room although not large was perfect. Bathroom was good, nice hit water. The staff were lovely. There were a few restaurants and pubs close by if you didn't want to eat at the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

Have stayed at the hotel on number of occasions and the service and quality has always been consistent and exceptional the staff are friendly and helpful

You just walk into the Queens hotel and know its going to be a great place to stay. Friendly staff welcome you and the rooms are well laid out, sumptious beds, all the in room facilities you could want including ironing boards, hair dryers etc. The food here is fantastic as well and what with a great outlook close to the beach what's not to like about the Queens hotel

Good stay, quiet, warm with great view of The Solent.

Reception staff were very helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and well equipped but can be slightly noisy because of creaking floor boards in the rooms above. For dinner, booking in advance is advisable even if the restaurant is not full as staff do not appear to expect walk ins, although after the initial surprise created by a walk in the service was fine.

The whole experience was wonderful. I felt very spoilt. Food was outstanding. Perfect location for visiting the Portsmouth Naval Memorial which was one of the reasons I chose the hotel.

Good hotel in nice location to see Southsea and Portsmouth. Evening meal was pricey though breakfast made up for it and was of good quality. Only minor gripe was that you'd need to be a stick insect to use the toilet in the bedroom comfortably as it was so close to the wall and the toilet roll holder too low. Even with windows open the steam extraction from shower was poor.

Disappointed. We’d stayed here before and enjoyed our stay so decided to come back. The room we got this time was totally different. Night and day. Small, TV on the side, not on a flexible arm. Small bathroom, shower water pressure weak. All in all disappointed given the high price.

Beautiful rooms and great service staff. Restaurant and Bar had excellent service. Elevator had strong odor is the only negative.

The hotel looks really good though out including our lovely room with a sea view. The staff were very friendly although there was no one there to carry your bags up a very imposing set of front steps. The restaurant was a bit of a let down as for some reason the music that was chosen to play was jazz which really did not match the beautiful surroundings and they played it in the evening as well as the morning, I thought it was me but I heard other customers complain about the noise. But it's not all bad, my solution was not to use the restaurant again and by that I found some really good places that are local with great aesthetics especially in the music department and great food

Wonderful stay at the Queens hotel. Everything was fantastic - the restaurant, the bar, the decor. I dont think ive ever been to a hotel with such kind and attentive staff. A special thanks to Adam and the young girl at breakfast (not sure of her name sorry!) - such lovely people! Thank you so much 💓
