It was absolutely fantastic stay

No option for heating when chilly - travelled with an elderly person

Super friendly and helpful hosts; the room was very clean.

The room we paid for was not given to us in stead we were given a lesser room with out the facilities advertised. The checking in was unprofessional with one of the hosts on her pjs and she look Unhappy that we booked her accommodation. We didn’t have access to the facilities as part of it was with a different Locks and the spa have to book and pay for an extra £25 per person.

Steve & Mubi were fantastic hosts really friendly & helpful with all our holiday needs. The rooms were really comfortable & clean, and a great location in Southsea. Would highly recommend.

the bed was fairly comfortable but that’s about it

this is not a spa hotel, far from it. the room was far too hot, we were given tiny fans you had to pour water into that were on the bedside tables, there was no air coming through the window as we were so high up, steepest staircase in history, was told we were able to use the amenities on site when we arrived and then later found out after being shown around the spa and told ‘come through here whenever you like’ that we had to pay £25pp for 1 hour for a couple. even though we weren’t going to use any of the facilities, only to sit outside in the garden area. the communal area for the bar and pool table/entertainments section was also closed due to a private function, we weren’t told this on arrival or before arrival and was actually told by the stag group from the area that we weren’t allowed in. there was tea and coffee available in the communal kitchen but had to buy our own milk, how tight! the guests that were staying opposite us in room 7 were noisy and woke me and my partner up at midnight, I’m currently pregnant and struggling to sleep as it is. the man who was in room 7 clearly pulled last night so ended up leaving his shoes on the communal kitchen floor and his prostitute friends shoes on the kitchen work surface! how hygienic, they also left all there washing up laying around the kitchen which I put in the sink. when we went to check out there was a child hanging around in the doorway of the house and blocking entry on an electric scooter so had to just drop the keys in the key box and leave. I would have raised my concerns with you if I’d managed to get hold of you this morning upon check out. I have read previous reviews and you clearly have a tendency to argue with each complaint that is made so I will await your response and wait for the argument.
