The front fella was extremely efficient and friendly. I would definitely stay there again. It's not 5 star however, the room was clean and beds were comfortable.

Great hotel in a great location at a great rate. The area feels very safe with lots of food options and plenty of stores near by. This was my 3rd stay and I will 100% stay again .

The check-in staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The property is an excellent location, with many restaurants and even grocery Stories within a short walk distance. I feel you get a lot for your money here. It’s definitely not fancy, but the superior rooms are larger, with microwave and mini fridge. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and knowledgeable. The Plum Market and the Panera bread located within steps of the hotel was definitely a bonus. The hotel itself needs some updating. A bit run down.

Booked the Red Roof Inn (PLUS ) for a Michigan football weekend. Liked the location, felt safe. Very basic room, no microwave or refrigerator in the standard king room. Room was clean and spacious - no issues. Staff was very friendly. I would stay here again.

Just ok

Arrived early and the man working the front desk let us check in at 12pm. Which was great because we had a long drive prior to getting there. It’s a Red Roof so wasn’t expecting a 5 star hotel. Room was clean and didn’t smell like smoke so that was nice. My only issue was is I had to kill a cockroach. It was the only one I saw but you know there’s more.

ROOM HAD ROACHES IN THE BATHROOM AND COMING FROM THE BOTTOM OF FRIDGE AND INSIDE THE FRIDGE WE FOUND 3 DEAD ROACHES. ADDRESSED IT TO THE FRONT DESK AND THEY COULD CARE LESS. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UPSET THAT NOTHING WAS OFFERED DUE TO THIS HUGE INCONVIENCE!!!! VERY UPSET

Quick check in and in a nice area!!

The manager was there when we checked in. We pulled into the handicap spot to go in and get the key, I have the sign displayed plainly. The manager went out and told my son he couldn’t park there and that I didn’t look handicapped! The rooms are shabby and the bed spread was stained. Terrible!

Very confortable the bedding and pillows.

It is close to U-Mich's north campus.

Nice place, will stay again

Try to get a room in the outer building? Farther away from noise and probably safer. Ann Arbor lives and dies by the University (as do I), so if you must be there during move in or other festivity, you must take what you can get or pay over $700 for something downtown. However, for 145 night- I at least expect some maid service (change of towels? Empty wastebaskets?). Rooms in the building with the office need better weather stripping (there was about a 3/4 gap at the bottom corner- explains the very modest number of spiders etc). Having Plum Market and Panera, there was helpful. The Lebanese place across the street was fabulous. With just a bit of care, could be just fine (even with rooms opening out to the parking lot).

Our room smelled of vomit and had a very dirty feel to it. A few of the lights did not work. The location is good but avoid this motel if possible. For the price charged, it is definitely not worth it.

The Desk Staff wasn't very friendly and acted like they hated their Job. Our Room was clean on the Surface but could tell their wasnt much efford put into that. Also had Ants and Cockroaches . Mentioned it to the Desk Clerk but didnt seem to be intrested.

Convenient stop for our one night stay. We had two bikes and a dog with us. Needed easy parking. The room was quiet and bed was comfortable. Panera and a plum market in the complex was a nice surprise. We would definitely stay again.

Everything was dirty and dated. The tv wouldn’t work, and the nightstands had crumbs in them. The alarm clock didn’t work, and was dumped under the bed. The shower wouldn’t drain, and looked grimey. Would not recommend, nor will I stay there again.

It was quiet

The room that we got was not what was pictured. It was dingy, had a stale smoke smell, the bathroom was outdated and not in great shape-broken tiles, cracked ceiling, the fridge didn't work, the a/c unit was loud and had a funny smell, the bed was the lumpiest thing I have ever slept on, the pillows were terrible-no support. Overall, we did not get what we expected at all. The surrounding area is nice but the hotel is not.

Room was not as clean as it should have been (dust bunnies behind the bathroom door). Not noticible until you close the door behind you. Toilet didn’t flush consistently- innards were rusted so the chain kept coming off. Not staying here again.

The gentleman who checked us in was efficient and friendly. My only complaint would be that the bathroom was not clean.

unfortunately we got bed bugs!!!!! rashes, itchiness, bites that we have to deal for almost 2 weeks, i can’t recommend this place.

It was horrible! I want a refund

The people working the front desk were always nice and the motel has easy access to hwy 23, 94,and 75. The room I was assigned was musty and had not been updated in a long time. Just visible signs of iffy repairs Everything was functional though. The bottom door jam/guard was worn out and left plenty of room for creepy crawly things to invite themselves in. Fortunately I didn't see any or I would have installed a new one myself. A inexpensive repair for such an important aspect of a motel room.
