The front desk lady was friendly, the beds were comfortable. The curtains didn't quite close and a bright light right outside window sucked. The free breakfast was not very good actually it was bad. People hanging out in front and lobby with no room or money to get a room. Other than that for the price not bad choice

The updated part of the hotel is pretty good. In the other hand, the old part seems like an other hotel. So, I´ll recommend booking the updated rooms, which are quite nice.

Everything was comfortable, and clean and upgraded. The office people were very kind both checking in/ out. The breakfast and lady making breakfast was very sweet. The meal was delicious!

Typical 3-star hotel, the room was clean, facility clean but the pool and spa were cloudy indicating not enough chlorine and poor maintenance. In the room jacuzzi tub was nice, balcony views the courtyard (no rooms have ocean views). Parking spaces were tight, but there were ample spaces and there's also an overflow lot next door. Need to drive to local dining spots.

Overall this is a nice hotel a few minutes from the beach. Had few options prepared by the staff for breakfast. The staff was very friendly.

What a great find for a nice place to stay. Comfortable bed and a quiet room for me on the 2nd floor. Relaxing courtyard with a fountain. Great breakfast and a person who even asked me if I wanted avocado toast. Good free parking. Good location.

It's older, but it's clean and close to the beach and many tourist places.
The parking is free! A big deal by the beach in Southern California.
I highly recommend it.

The hotel have No Power , so we could not check inn . Vaktes 4 HOURS too get our room.
We Got then opgradet , too a very Nice room. But No pool time it was too late it was Dark.

The remodeled rooms are beautiful and modern. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was a dream! Would definitely stay here again. Parking is a breeze and staff is very friendly and accommodating.

My daughters and I stayed here for 1 night after the Ohana Festival. The hotel is definitely old but not in a run down way. It was really clean and everything was in good working order. The girls at the front desk were very sweet and helpful, as well as the woman who ran the breakfast area the next day. Breakfast was better than I expected. In a good area and pretty close to Dana Point Harbor as well as easy access to the trolley and bus. Beds were comfy, air was cold, shower was hot. Would definitely stay here again.

My reservation was a Spa King Balcony. I got to my room & no Spa? Went back to the office & he offered an upgrade, but no balcony? I like the salty ocean air since it is near the beach. I ended up negotiating & got an extra 3-hours of stay to compensate & no down deposit.
The room had ants in the bathroom shower creeping out the walls & by the desk. There is not small table where most room would have it, so I ate the desk that had ants on it?

Great stay and property to stay close to some things to do in San Clemente. Would stay again. They are undergoing some remodeling this property used to be a best western. They have breakfast and have parking onsite. This can fill up quick. I would say they do need an elevator to second floor. Also the room we stayed in was also nice with updates amenities and jacuzzi bathroom tub. The shower door had some issues would not close. Nice pool and hot tub.

Great location and cute little place! The room we stayed in had black mold in the bathroom. It is next to the ocean so, itll happen, but still.

This hotel needs a face lift. It has been there for years and is in a noisy spot. Parking spots are very tight and in short supply. There are lots of delivery trucks with drivers who make zero effort to be quiet. The rooms are in need of upgrading and there are no vending machines anywhere because of the bums. Wont be going back.

The remodel of the separate building rooms is quite nice and made the room more desirable. New swivel confortable chair is a nice addition. Real glass cups, glasses also positive. Very clean. Bravo!

The staff is friendly. We checked in with Erin and she is super nice. The room is spacious.

The GM, Kevin, was extremely accommodating and helpful upon our very early arrival. He also directed us to the best parking area for our room location and assisted us with information about how to get around the town on foot and by trolley. We were so appreciative of all of his assistance and will definitely stay here again.
